Needs Improvement
This RC tank looks really cool! It’s a good design and I like that it can move in any direction, however, there’s a lot of room for improvement. The remote is simple and easy to use, but I don’t like the placement of the buttons to move side to side. My kid has a similar RC and the remote is much more user friendly. I absolutely do not like that the sound can’t be turned off on this RC tank. It constantly makes a sound of running which I suppose adds to wearing down the batteries, but the sound is just annoying when used indoors. It plays that familiar tik tok video song in a demo and drives me crazy but my kid loves it. My kiddo played with this off and on for about a total of 30 minutes and the batteries went dead. I’m going to bet that the orbeez (“water bombs”) adds to sucking the juice out of the batteries. It’s a nice feature, but horrible at execution. The compartment for the orbeez pops open when shooting them out instead of staying closed. Also, the orbeez don’t make it farther then the end of the tank and they come out broken. This isn’t a very fast RC but it does well across outdoor surfaces from dirt to grass. All things considered, I would not purchase this RC tank for $49.99 or recommend it. It needs improvement as far as my opinion goes.

Grandson loved it!
It was something my grandson picked out for his birthday, that I got him. He loves it!

Very fun for dogs but eats batteries
Purchased this to keep our fetch crazed dog busy. Noisy, and she didn't like it at first, but then chased it around and barked at it. Would be more fun if could turn noises on/off with remote. Didn't try water bullets with dogs.

Love that it shoots water bullets
This tank is a huge hit with both myself AND my grandson. I love that it can move sideways as well as forward, backwards, and once you master the controller, lots of ways in between, as the demo shows. The wrist gesture controller works well, and unlike some finger/wrist controllers, it's not so sensitive that it's difficult to control the rc toy. I was also impressed with the fact that the wrist/finger controller works almost as far away as the hand controller. Others I've had don't xmit very far.One thing I wish it did have, and is implied by their video, is that it had rc control of the tanks turret. You can only turn the turret manually, and even then only about 40 degrees left or right, as my pic shows. In the video and description provided, it says "360° Rotation and Translation". I don't know what they mean by "translation" but unlike the description implies, you can only turn the turret manually. The TANK of course turns 360 degrees by spinning it around. Well of course it does! On the wrist controller you can move forward and backwards, but not sideways, spin or operate the demo mode, which the hand controller will do. Point being, if you want ALL the functionality, you will need to be wearing the wrist controller AND have the hand controller handy. Not a big deal, as adding the moving sideways function to the wrist controller, as well as adding another motor to move the turret, would probably increase it's sophistication, and thus the cost. That said, at $50, it IS significantly more than most rc toys in this price range. Then again, most don't shoot water bullets! It does come with 1000 water bullets. You soak them in water for 4 hours and they expand to 7-8mm, ready to use in the tank.Although the video and description implies that you can move the turret with the hand controller, which it does not, this is such fun that I have to give it 5 stars. It is also very FAST, almost as fast as some rc cars. This makes it a challenge, since you can't turn the turret, and thus have to aim at something by orienting the fast moving tank in that direction, to indeed HIT something, like a stack of paper cups. However, that makes it all the more challenging.

Loads of fun...
This RC toy is fun and I'm impressed with it. It has a conventional remote control but also has a wrist-watch style controller. It was actually easier to control with the wrist-watch controller than the conventional controller which surprised me. It has a demo mode where the toy plays music that it "dances to" while going through all of its motion capabilities. It fires water cannonballs that are very tiny when dry and soak up water to get them to their firing size. Keep in mind that it takes about 4 hours for the cannonballs to soak up the water so putting a few of them in a cup of water is probably one of the first things you'll want to do. They are very small and wouldn’t hurt anything or anyone. Although small children could easily swallow them so I wouldn’t have the toy around very small children. Probably wouldn’t do any harm even if swallowed but the listing just says that they are “safe” and doesn’t mention anything about the case of them being swallowed.Pros:1) Easy to setup and start having fun.2) Optional controller styles3) Unusual movements like side to side.4) Lots of fun!Cons:1) Only comes with one rechargeable battery so can't play while it's recharging.2) It's difficult to turn in small increments so it's not easy to turn accurately.3) The instructions could definitely be a lot better: a) Doesn't say anything about soaking the water cannonballs. b) Isn't clear about the use of the dual function button on the remote (short press is demo mode, long press is fire water cannonballs).I would probably give this toy 4 1/2 stars if I could because it only comes with one battery. But I guess it would probably be pretty easy to get an additional battery for it.
