This set of MÜLLERHEIM 903 Collection, 4 place, 16-Piece Contemporary Ceramic Stoneware Dinnerware is an extremely high quality set of robust stoneware. Quality materials, craftsmanship, and design result in a very sturdy product that is tastefully artistic.The Dinner plate edges are rolled up approximately 1" in order to minimize spillage. The dinnerware are superbly manufactured and are designed to accommodate the European sized serving portions. Hence, the dinnerware as a whole are somewhat smaller dimensions than the average comparable US manufactured items would be (ref. photos.)These MÜLLERHEIM 903 stoneware dinnerware set is also very nicely decorated to give it a simple, yet luxurious appeal, and at a very affordable price.

I love the look and feel of this set of plates. I however don’t like that my silver wear leaves marks on them. I have yet to try to scrub them off with Bar Keepers Helper, but I hear that usually works. The reason it happens is the glaze used most likely has zinc in it or something. I used to make pottery as a ceramic artist and always got zinc-free glaze to avoid the markings. It’s just that the glaze is so hard that the silverware leaves a trail of metal behind. It’s not dangerous, just doesn’t look that great. I have other dishes that don’t do this, but that’s the only disappointing thing about these dishes. They look great in my food styling photos and the camera doesn't pick up the silverware markings as they are pretty light after washing. They are super sturdy and well made, and the mugs are the perfect size for cappuccinos.

This is a gorgeous set. Each piece is heavy, sturdy and durable. Due to their weight, I needed to use both hands to hold one set. I love the white and black contrast. I highly recommend hand washing. I am unwilling to take the risk of washing these pieces in the dishwasher. While each piece is sturdy, they are fragile as well.

This is a very pretty set of dark blue dinnerware that includes 4 round dinner plates, 4 salad plates, 4 bowls and 4 handled mugs. Measurements for each piece are as follows: 10.5" Dinner Plate, 8" Side Plate, 6" Bowl and 14 oz Mug, all great sizes for family meals.I love the lipped border design of these dishes. If you have small children, the border will help them keep food on their plates and off your floors. These dishes are easy to handle, lightweight but still have a nice heft to them, and the bowls and large mugs are just the right sizes for ice cream, oatmeal, and the usual suspects of cereal and coffee or tea.These pretty dishes are dishwasher and microwave safe and have a beautiful matte finish glaze. This set of dishes comes in five colors all told, and it would be easy to expand your first set of four place settings. These are well made dishes that should hold up very well.Excellent product, a pretty set of dark blue dishes including four each of dinner plates, side plates, bowls, and 14-ounce handled mugs. These are dishwasher and microwave safe and are ideal for children to use because the plates have a lipped border that helps keep food on the plates, not on the floor. These are durable, well made dishes, and it would be easy to add another set of four. I love the way these dishes are made and glazed and highly recommend them for family meals.

We received this set of dishes free for review and we really like them! First things first, I have to say I don't think they were packaged very well for shipping as one of the smaller plates arrived broken which is very sad. So maybe they're not super uber tough dish plates, but I'd say they're the same as any other. But as for everything else they are great. We really like the sizes of the plates and bowls and we particularly like the mugs. The olive green color is also wonderful, goes with our kitchen very well. I would definitely buy these myself, I think the price actually really good for these, and who knows, maybe I will!

I had this small set of dishes sent to some friends who are a couple without children. I chose the dark blue because I knew we all love that sort of old Evening in Paris color, and I knew it would be completely different from anything they have been using. I like stoneware and how light it is, as well as the inclusion of mugs, rather than teacups. When the set arrived, my friend called to let me know she was washing them and putting them in the cabinet, getting them ready for use. She sounded quite excited to get them, and I know new dishes can be a real pick me up These are also a really good price, with a good choice of colors, so I feel very upbeat about them. It's spring right now, but I think these would make a great Christmas present for someone or yourself, when you are tired of your old dishes, and would really like to change up your kitchen a bit. The recipient said the set was well packaged, which is always a good thing, but is essential with dishware. I'm happy I ordered these. I keep imagining what French toast or apple pie would look like with that dark blue background. Nice.
