Inaccurate
This thermometer kept reading exactly 37°C, no matter what my actual temperature was. My other thermometer read 38.5°C, but this one read 37°C.

DANGEROUS!!!
This item was used for the first time, two days out of the return period as my little grandson developed a fever at this time. He had not been ill prior to this . This item showed his temperature being 2° below what it actually was. ( 39°.) Luckily my daughter had an armpit thermometer so was able to read his temperature correctly. This could have been very dangerous.

Likes:1.Body temperature measurement readings were repeating within 0.2 deg F measured between two intervals of 1minute. I don’t call it accuracy, but repeatability.2.Easy to use and quick readings in 1sec.3.Build quality is good.4.Comes with detailed instructions manual. Please read it carefully for effective use of the device.5. I didn’t get a chance to check two-color backlight indication.I don’t have any dislike with this product.

Works as well as my Braun ear thermometer
It's hard to decide which thermometer to get because there are so many good and bad reviews. I went with this one because of the ratio of the good to bad reviews. It works great, I've used it about 15 to 20 times and I always check it against my ear thermometer. It is within .3 degrees all the time. I do not keep it in a room for 30 min or any of that and it is accurate. Super simple and quick with a .2 degree variance if any.
