nice product
First, I will list the two things that I wish were more clear on the description/reviews:1. The 1/2 size was just big enough to encase three 16 gauge speaker wires (with 2 lead on each wire). There was not room to put wire nuts at the splices so I just soldered them.2. The tool that you can buy to stuff the wires in the loom was not needed. The loom easily separates down the middle with your finger. While I was researching a way to conceal speaker wire for my surround sound set up, I happened upon this product. It seemed to have as many uses as duct tape! Many people were using it to keep pets from chewing on cords or just organizing cables. I bought it to run the wire along the outside of my house. I ended up burying it with a shallow layer of pea gravel to conceal it.It works great! It was flexible enough to easily go around corners and under landscape bricks. It mimicked the flexibility of my speaker wire enough to stay where I put it without staking it down. The thin layer of landscape material was enough to hold it in place. There is also a ton of it. They literally send you 100 ft of it. I used it for my outside speaker wire then I had enough to organize my television cables inside the house and still have plenty left. This time, Because I was combining less flexible wire (I was able to fit two coaxial cables in the 1/2 inch loom) it was not as easy to lay flat. All in all it was a good product for a great price. If I ever run out(I doubt that I will) I would definitely buy this product again from this vender.

Great
I bought this to protect my wires from my chinchillas. It works very well. Wires slide right into the tube and my chinchillas have not even tried to chew through yet. The only problem is it slides if you do not tape it into place. It also is not at all easy to tape for some reason, it does not hold the tape unles you wrap it. Overall this is a god send for naughty chinchilla owners, much better than the rubber citrus scented protecters that actually advetise as wire protectors. My chinchillas enjoyed chewing through that even more than they enjoy eating wires! I would deffinatly reccomend this product. I also love amazon it makes ebay look like dirt <3

Noodle buster!
Wire looms serve more than one purpose, as other reviewers have already stated. It not only cleans up the clutter, but it also offers protection against pets and other critters who might find your wires to be an enticing snack. I didn't bother picking up a loom tool and I'm glad I didn't because it is unnecessary, these looms are more than flexible enough to handle with your bare hands. All you need to do is to measure the length you need, cut that amount off with standard scissors and then to simply pull the slit ends apart with your fingers (or a flat-head screwdriver if you feel that's necessary - I didn't), push the wires in and then compress it shut again. Couldn't be happier with the price ratio for the amount and the quality as well, it is more than enough for any needs (100ft is enough for just about anything for home-use) and will last forever.I bought this because I recently upgraded to an ultra-modern glass desk that is very open, so wire management would have served to be a real issue to tackle without them. All I did was stuff my wires away and zip-tie these under the metal framework and now you can't even tell there are wires running all of this equipment! And I don't have to worry anymore that one of our four pets will decide to chew on anything, which is a real load off of my mind I can tell you.Hands down, this is the best solution for wire clutter or pet's chewing habits. Best deal on price too!

Thinner than other brands
Works well and looks good once installed. Thinner and easier to kink or damage while installing than some brands. Once installed, it has held up fine under the hood so it is heat resistant.

Garbage
My cat loves chewing on this. Total waste.

Cat attractant product!
I purchased this product to cover electrical cords that one of my cats was occasionally chewing on. Not only does the cat who was chewing on the electrical cords easily chew right through this "protective" tubing, (he loves to chew on the tubing even more than he did the cords), now the other four cats who weren't chewing on cords have also joined in the tubing-chewing fun-fest. Needless to say I have since removed all of the tubing from the house and am in search of a product that is not so easily penetrated and actually affords a measure of protection. In addition, this is a very flimsy product that is easily damaged even without the help of cats and kittens.

Great for Houses with Bunnies
I bought this to put on cords to stop my house rabbit from chewing through them. It's amazing how well it works! I had been looking for something like this at a reasonable price and this was the perfect solution. You get 100ft, which was more than enough for the amount of cords I had going to lamps and other things and probably would have been enough for the entertainment area too, but I have that fenced off instead since there are so many cords in a small area. The 1/2 inch tubing can fit two normal sized cords in it just fine and it's really easy to slide it on or snap it around the cords, but if you're trying to use this stuff to organize a large number of cords into one tube, you'll want to go with something bigger in diameter. For me, this size was perfect because I didn't want anything too big and intrusive in my house. Tubing sold as a chewing deterrent can cost 10 times this much. If you have a rabbit or even a cat or small puppy that likes to chew power cords, this stuff is the way to go. (Although, it probably wouldn't hold up to a larger puppy or grown dog's teeth.)
