I recently tried out the HAIRBURST Hydrating & Balancing Scalp Tonic and I'm quite pleased with the results. After a weekend at a festival, my scalp got a bit sunburned and was in need of some TLC. This tonic came in handy with its soothing properties, providing relief from the discomfort.One thing I particularly enjoyed was the pleasant scent of the tonic. It's a small detail, but it made the application process much more enjoyable. The moisturizing effects, thanks to ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, were evident after just a few uses.The fact that this tonic also addresses dandruff and itchiness is a huge plus. The 100ml bottle is quite substantial, ensuring that I'll have enough product to last me a while. Knowing that it's cruelty-free and made in the UK adds to its appeal. Overall, the HAIRBURST Scalp Tonic has found a permanent place in my hair care routine for maintaining a healthy scalp.

I'm a long time customer of Hairburst and I take their hair vitamins everyday - they really work. I'm not sold on their haircare range however as I've had lack lustre results with almost every topical product I've tried, including the shampoos, conditioners, leave in spray/treatment and hair mask. This scalp tonic is the first product I've used that has done some good from the very first use, but it's not a game changer. I found it does alleviate some dryness of the scalp, but it doesn't seem to last very long. It's quite greasy to rub into the scalp but it does not make your hair greasy once dry.The biggest issue I have is that when the bottle arrived, it was sealed, but when I opened it, it was half empty. If this is how the product ships, at £25.00, that's absolutely crazy expensive when the bottle isn't even full. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because the nozzle of the bottle is so small that I could not get a photo at any angle to show how little was in the bottle upon first inspection. If I was a paying customer, I'd absolutely be demanding a full refund, but as it is, this is a Vine review, so I'm only obligated to leave my honest experience and opinion, which is what this is.

My scalp can get really irritated with washing, no matter what I use or how I use it - not only that but my head is the oiliest part of my body, so I often have super greasy hair (again, no matter what I do..). I find sometimes I have dandruff that doesn’t change whether I use anti-dandruff shampoo, do extra long rinses, etc. The only thing that helps is conditioner…but that makes the oil even worse!I'm finding this product is helping quite a bit with keeping my scalp calmer and moisturizing enough to avoid dandruff, yet without making my head even oilier.I like that this product offers a different treatment style that is NOT an outright exfoliant of some kind. - It takes a more restorative route vs a full on exfoliant route and contains Hyaluronic acid, a lubricant naturally produced by the body and Niacinamide, a type of B3 that boost collagen and helps skin texture.Good alternative to most scalp balancers/cleanser type product which are often salicylic acid, which is a BHA exfoliant.This is a leave in formulae! It says DO NOT rinse - definitely keep that in mind before using.It's slightly sticky, slightly thicker than water consistency makes for easier application as it doesn’t run all over.I think the harder part about this product and similar is always application, even with my crazy short hair i feel like I get more in my hair than on my scalp. No fault of the product, just how it is with anything applied to the scalp - so I probably end up using a fair bit more than I should. The best method might be to put the applicator to your scalp and give it a tap. I don’t recommend squeezing as too much product will be dispensed. Failing that try applying to your fingers, holding your hair up and threading your fingers through your hair onto your scalp, rather than coming top down straight onto hair.It does contain things like perfume - I find the initial smell to be chemically on the hand but it almost immediately fades into what I would describe as a light coconut kind of smell, its fantastic!I definitely recommend giving it a try if you're suffering with anything mentioned :)

I am actually a bit blown away with how well this scalp tonic has worked for my hair and scalp. It’s very easy for me to use and apply and it didn’t take me long at all. I like the fragrance of the product as it smells nice plus with how much is in the bottle it should last me for a few more applications. The tonic itself hasn’t caused any discomfort or irritation to my sensitive scalp and I’m really pleased with the results I got even after the first usage. I immediately saw that all of the dry skin was gone, and there were no dandruff flakes at all. My scalp is definitely less itchy and feels more hydrated. I’ll definitely be using this scalp tonic again that’s for sure. It’s a high quality product that works so I have no hesitation in recommending it. I feel that the value for money is wonderful and it’s well worth getting in my opinion.

Easy to use, smells nice and does leave my scalp feeling soothed but it leaves my hair crunchy as though I’ve got hairspray in. I didn’t even use a lot but my hair feels terrible. Will stick to using it at night and washing it off in the morning.

Scalp tonic is cooling when applied.It is easy to dispense out of the bottle. The liquid does dispense quickly so you have to watch how much pours out, the instructions say you only need a couple of drops per section to rub onto your scalp.It acts as a good soother when your scalp it a bit itchy but doesn’t prevent it in the long run.For the price it is expense especially when the bottle doesn’t last long.
