It never controlled volume to my DAC and amp. Sound came through then within 5 minutes silence on all digital outs and the 3.5mm made nothing but ground loop type noise. At least it didn’t damage my equipment as far as I can tell. Will be returning it. Think if I were them I’d make sure they work before selling them. It came up on my TCL tv as a CEC device but had zero control over volume with the television remote. Obviously the product is defective or poorly designed to begin with. May try my luck with another one because the sound was in fact flawless audiophile quality if not for the device control issue this product would have been a ten out of five. Buy it if you don’t need device control. It sounds amazing!

This installed easily, worked great, was totally impressed. Extracted audio from my Sony TV ARC HDMI port and converted it to TOSLiNK for my Sonos Ray. After a few hours, just stopped. Went through troubleshooting, but can't get it to output anything over the optical anymore. Going to have to return it.

quality seems good, but does not work for laptop to monitor, no picture. only works for dvd to tv.

For the price, this is the best in the market. Really good quality, it’s long, and it’s just as advertised.
