16-Piece Camera Adapter Set: 1/4" to 3/8" Screw Converters, Black & Silver

As a photographer I have gathered together a rather large collection of camera bodies over the years and sadly they don't all have the same specifications.One area that is always a stumbling point is thread mount size for tripods, in modern cameras this is pretty much standardised but I use old film camera in equal measure and occasionally find myself in a situation where I have the wrong tripod for the occasion.To counter this I like to keep a handful of adapters in my camera bag at all times to ensure I don't waste my time trying to jerry rig something up, whilst I got these for free to review they are exactly what I look for when purchasing.One could pay a lot more but these are tiny and have a habit of getting lost so are frequently replaced, I treat them pretty much as a consumable. I think the current asking price of £8.99 at the time of writing is very reasonable for the quality and quantity, even better if you use them in a studio for lighting stands and the like where the chances of them going astray are lessened.Recommended.

Screw mounts for tripods and stands do not seem to have a standard. It is a little better nowadays but legacy equipment is a nightmare. It is always good to have some adapters on hand. This set will help out a lot. The screws are exactly as described and are reasonable quality. A great addition to the camera bag.

Doesn't fit standard thread size fishing banksticks on turns a few times in the thread

Good selection of pieces. They seem sturdy and well machined. In other words, they do what they are supposed to do.

These were the perfect solution for adapting my older field tripod to my newer ARCA rail system. The metal male-to-female adapter sleeves and the male-male adapter studs have are all free from flaws, and they seem to be well machined. I've used these on a couple of different applications, and they have always worked well. I only needed a couple if the adapters, but this kit will insure that I've always got one for next time. Overall, these were exactly what I needed to Frankenstein some tripod gear together.

Needed this to extend the mount on a SteamVR lighthouse, but will certainly end up using more for lamps and cameras and stuff. Really just a great thing to have in the camera bag.
