I felt like a bad ass lol

I actually wanted this hood as a simple, stylish way to add a hood to a couple of coats and jackets that lack one. I was afraid something chintzy and cheesy would show up and was prepared to be slightly horrified.I was so, SO wrong!This hood is nice! A heavier weight cotton material with nice drape to it and a snazzy zipper. If there’s a weak link it would be the zipper but don’t feel it will fail at any point, it just isn’t quite up to the quality of the fabric. The face scarf bit, which I checked out but haven’t really used, is a standard polyester material but doubled thickness so even that has a nice heft to it and won’t look corny if you’re all decked out quality style! I will mention that the hood is quite deep. Great for mystery and slipping through taverns anonymously but I don’t wear it up when driving!!If you’re eyeballing this just go ahead and get it! I love how it works as a good and the darned things has almost tempted me to try cosplay because it’s just that cool!

Gret Idea - Chunky zipper is cool - Hood size and shape is excellent, just wish the fabric was a little softer around the face but the thickness is excellent and this is great for getting the hoodie effect without the bulk of having to put on an whole another sweatshirt!

Picked this up for a costume for an event and it was great! The event was outside in the cold for several hours and wearing this mask/hood combo was very warm the entire time.May be a bit too thick to wear in the heat of the summer say during a Ren faire

I don't have particularly broad shoulders, but this thing just refuses to lay properly. It looks so cool in the pictures, and honestly the quality of it is nice, but it just feels like the shoulder portion is too small. I feel like it's only meant for very petite individuals or children. Not one size fits all.

This hooded face cover is pretty nice. Its large and has some room when placed over the head. Doesn't quite give the rogue look you see in the product picture, but it works as a comfortable hood. The mask bit and the hood come as 2 pieces and are made from different materials. Both seem well constructed.

I have so many jackets that I wish had a hood sometimes. This is perfect to add under the jacket if you think it may rain or want the extra warmth for your head without a bulky hooded sweater under the jacket. The fabric is nice and thick, the hood is oversized so it looks really cool when it is pulled up. My husband even said it was such a great idea because so many of his leather jackets have no hoods but it is too warm and bulky to put a big hoodie underneath. Not just for cosplay, this is actually a great feature for cold/inclement weather.
