Cute gift for a friend.
An old friend has a small collection of owls. I plan on gifting this one to her on some special occasion. She will literally get a "hoot" out of it on her window sill, or dashboard.

These sun dancers are hard to find. We have 4 or 5 on our front porch, and as people walk by, they look at them and smile, and that makes me smile.

Inner workings rattling loosely, and does not move at all in the sun
Disappointing! I love solars, the Dollar Store used to sell them but they apparently became too expensive to produce as they stopped selling them years ago. So, since I can't find them anywhere else, I was willing to pay a premium to get a few new ones to make the young grandbabies smile. We ordered this owl as well as a cat. Neither one work, no movement at all, they just sit there. The owl is clearly broken, as something inside is rattling around. The packaging was fine, but these solars are so cheaply made, my theory is that they simply can't endure the violence of shipping. Very disappointed, no new solars in the window to amuse the grandbabies.

I bought this for my granddaughter - she loves the dancing figures and owls so this fit the bill! And he even dances when away from the sun (on really bright days) -

Very Cheap, doesn't work
I bought this to glue on my dashboard in my truck. The thing doesn't work. You have to like tap it to get it going then it only dances for a min or two before it stops. Tested it in my windowsill and it wouldn't start on its own, then after I tapped it, only went for a few minutes before stopping. It was in super bright sunlight too. Also, having the solar panel on the front is dumb, would be better to have it behind that way you can have it facing you while it dances.NOT WORTH THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICE! Very cheap quality.
