What a lovely set, somewhat expensive but a good selection of bits and if you need compliance with electrical torque settings a must.One of my favourite tools.

Item was delivered in sealed 'vacuum pack' plastic so scissors down one side, open the faces and shake the contents out ... No such luck when it's pip welded in multiple places across the face too ... Using a good stanley knife I got the contents out with only 8 major cuts (tip: cut across the pack on the tool side of the welded pips and you may get away with six cuts ...) The packaging was sturdy and I didn't cut my fingers off but this has to be one of the the worst examples of frustration-filled packaging I've had to open. Anyway, the tools are then loose for you to arrange as you see fit in the supplied tool roll - presumably because it's too much of a pain for the manufacturer to do it. Literally an inch extra fabric and this roll would have been fine but it's barely adequate for the tools supplied.I have just tested it and the tool set itself seems fine if a bit 'plasticy'. The torque driver seems to work, is easy to read and set and is scaled to 0.02Nm (effectively infinitely variable) across the range. The two extra handles are fine but are the weakest looking parts of the set. It will be interesting to see how the hold/release mechanisms last especially on the two 'fixed' handles.The torque calibration certificate was done 4/12/18 - so it's already 5 months out of date.Positives: Lots for the money compared to other brands. Wide enough torque range for most fittings (1-5Nm). Infinitely variable torque. Good range of blades. Spare parts and blades are cheap. Handles rated to VDE 1000V.Negatives: Still a steep price for a plastic torque driver. Too plasticy. Packaging horrible to open. Tool roll too small for the set. Torque calibration certificate too old. The packaging says "1000V VDE safe" on the cardboard backer but does not carry the VDE logo and there's no CE mark or any other declaration of conformity with any electrical standard - European or otherwise. On inspection, the handles are VDE marked to 1000V but the blades only have the VDE logo with no voltage rating ... I will attempt to clarify that marking with Draper.

Functionality and value for money

Nice quality set, so long as you have the grip strength to utilise 5Nm of torque! Pleasant and secure click together of bits and handle, simple tool-free torque adjustment, and a couple of other handles for more mundane tasks. Bits to fit almost any scenario from my bike to consumer units.

The screw driver comes in a handy roll out mat, the three different handles are very useful for any prep work. Setting the the torque is easy an gives a an audible sound as well as slipping at the correct torque, no issues, gives you a lot more confidence when making connections, one tip count your screw driver bits in the roll out mat at the end of every day.

16 screwdriver bits but does not come with the PZ/SL bits you would use for MCB's and RCBO'sbut you can purchase them separately for around the £5 and £6 each

I was about to burly the Wiha torque VDE set for nearly dibble, so glad O didn’t this has the torque setting on the Nadel no. Red for a different setting tool. Amazed at the quality and value for money.
