ASD Black Pro Series Adult Archery Compound Bow 70lbs ** COMPLETE PACKAGE **

My first bow so I don't have much to compare to.Looks and feels great, but has some things it could have done better on:--70b of draw is a lot to start but can be lowered by changing the strength down to 40lb but if I don't know what your doing can be hard.- the arrow rest is not the one in the picture. I strongly recommend a whisper bisket- no instructions on how to attach the sights or the arrow rest.- not enough string for the d-loop and to get the arrow rest working well.- no peep hole site on the rear string( but can be attached ( I think I can work out how but not great for a noob)- could do with some string wax-arrows are not strong enough to survive a full day shooting at 70 lbOver all I am happy with this bow but if I could do it over again I would go to the shop and get 1 fitted and set up for me.After going to a shop and being shown what to do I am now very attached to it and love it still gets 2 stars as the instructions could be more in-depth for idiots like me

We first bought an ASD black Monster as present for my friend, giving me the chance to get ''in touch'' with the quality and high value for money ratio ASD offers. Somehow I caught ''the bug'' and decided to get into Archery myself. So I ordered a Black Pro Series complete Package. Reason for not buying the black monster: I am a good bit taller and the Pro Series seemed to fit my body measurements better. When the Pro Series arrived I was pleasantly surprised that this bow is only a little bigger than the Monster and is not as huge as I expected ( but just right for me, 6ft tall, longisch arms and quite big hands).This bow is a little bit heavier but still on the light side of things. Well built, looks and feels strong, top notch finish. MY first attempt of drawing the bow failed miserably - had to adjust the draw weight - the draw length was already adjusted to 29'' which is pretty much right for me - as far as I can judge it with my novice knowledge. Manual is simple but clear and good. All the bits and pieces like bow rest (Whisker), the sight, the quiver, the dampener etc all make a good and for sure not cheap impression.A friend who is in an Archery club ( he has a whole collection of expensive bows, Barnet etc., but then he is also competing etc.) came up and already had to concede that the black Monster is quite something. He took a good look at the Pro and was impressed. He in fact stated, that this is already more than just a ''beginners''- bow and is of surprising quality and that it stands up well to a good few models he has. Well, I compared his Barnett bow for around 600 Euro to this ASD Pro. I can't really see what makes the difference ( mechanically) in the build of the bows. So, for me that makes the Pro that much better because it represents an excellent value for money! Lucky for me he adjusted everything for me and also shot a few of his own arrows - he seemed quite happy and had impressive results, he commented that the bow is highly accurate - I probably need some time (months,years?) to get to that standard!Looking forward to learning my new hobby, I probably first have to retrain myself ( my upper body strength) to be able to shoot this bow.Now, again: this bow is a serious bow for adults! NO TOY! But: if you want to get into Archery with a quality product that also has an excellent backup (ASD UK) - then this ASD Black Pro Bow is just the ticket! Highly recommended!

Not sure bout accuracy yet as have not taken down any buffalo as of yet... But power is amazing. An arm wrenching 70lbs wow. Very strog bow. But last time I checked I bough the last one 😃 you may have a wait ahead of you..

Serving wore down after a few weeks because mine came with recurve arrows but I’m very happy with the bow in general.

Fantastic bow getting it set up with all the extra bits I bought from Amazon for my boat only problem is getting arrows that are strong enough to be fired by the boat
