This pill cutter does a decent job cutting my Synthroid pills in half. It does not always do a perfect job, but usually close enough. I usually don't bother aligning the blade with the cut line on the pill.The plastic and hinges appear strong enough. Its a slight bit more robust than other pill cutters I've used.It doesn't have any fancy sliding mechanisms in it, just hinges at one end.There is storage on the bottom of the pill cutter. Once in a while the cover comes off, but I just press it back on.There is also a fairly large well in front of the cutter area that can be used to store a few pills prior to use.

A bit clunky and unwieldy for most pills, but if you need to cut tiny pills that other pill cutters can't deal with precisely, this one works well. For larger pills, it takes a bit too much time to fill up my pill box, so I use a different pill cutter. Definitely keep this around just in case you get prescribed miniscule pills -- it'll help.

Due to DEA issues on benzodiazepines, I had to start getting my script written as "1 mg up to three times a day" despite the fact that my maintenance dose is 0.5 mg twice a day, and while they aren't TINY pills splitting them with my thumbnails is annoying on a good day and not currently an option, hence why I bought this.You may want to tip this a little to make sure that your pill is all the way back where it's supposed to be and I doubt this would work well on really tiny pills, but it works fine on mine and the metal vial and cleaning brush are both nice little extras. (Right now I have the vial with "I already split these" in my actual script bottle so I can just pull that out and get a pre-split dose without the possibility of forgetting what the split pills actually are.)I cannot say it'll hold up long-term, but for $8 I'm not all that concerned about it either.

I’m new at the “pill cutting” business... I made this purchase to quarter a small, oblong pill and with some finesse, it will work.I’ll explain... when you put your pill in the cannel, hold it in your hand which allows the pill to stay in place and then... “snap it”. If you try to push down slowly it will slinger the pill, so you want to make a quick “snap”. It makes a clean cut more often than not, doing it that way.

I got insane with my tablets cutting by hand. I was super frustrated until I found this little helper. I am so happy that it works very well and it is easy to clean. Also comes with the little brush and a little aluminum bottle. Great experience

This cutter works great without applying hardly any pressure at all. It's sturdy and a great value with the extra pill holder and cleaning brush provided. You can't go wrong with this item!

I really like this pill cutter but wonder why they always face the v shaped holder with the wide side away from blade. This allows the pills to move while cutting. Shouldn't the the tip of the V shape be towards the blade to hold the pill while cutting? This is the best one I have found yet.

I needed to cut pills for my dog because knife would make it crumble. does a good job.

El producto es bueno y el empaque es muy lindo pero Realmente no necesario a menos que las pastillas que vayas a cortar sean muy duras, nada que un cuter no pueda hacer, partí una para mis perritos y las pastilla se desmoronó, no culpa del producto pero de haber sabido no lo Compro :/ funciona pero no es indispensable.

Really good product. I have used others pill spillters before but they could not handle small to large pills and cut them down the middle with ease. Excellent pill spillter and greate carrying case

Muy útil, sin embargo es un item muy simple por un precio un poco elevado. De igual manera es útil y sirve perfectamente para lo que fue diseñado.
