The media could not be loaded. The cleaning pod came nicely wrapped. The size is very good and not too heavy. There is a manual which explains how to use it. You also get the plug to use the device with it.The pod has to be filled with water first, then you add your mouth guard/ retainer.It has a 5 minute cycle to clean, and the on/ off button is on the top. Once you finish using it, plug it out first, then clean it with a soft cloth, which takes very little time to do. The quality is excellent and once finished using it, it's easy to pack away, as it takes up less space. Very good value for money.

For someone concerned about hygiene, this cleaner seemed promising. The ultrasonic cleaning power was evident as my mouth guard emerged sparkling. The UV-C sanitising light is a fantastic touch, giving an extra layer of cleanliness assurance. It would be better if there were clearer instructions on the frequency of use for optimal results.

The cleaner comes nicely packaged and looks a substantial piece of kit, it comes with a mains plug and user guide and is designed to Deep clean, sterilise and lift stains in 5-10 mins using tap water. The device has a flip lid that self closes and a chamber that you fill with tap water, pop your appliance in press the start button and you will hear a buzz sound. I tried several sets of appliances from partial denture to mouth guards.After following the instructions to the letter I found that the mouth guard looked no different after the cleaning than it did before and the same with the partial dentures, I have always used a tablet cleaner and a brush so I wanted something that replaced this method and was chemical free, quick and easy and that is why I ordered this Opro cleaner. At nearly £68.00 I must admit I expected to see a real difference, I will continue to use it, and the instructions do say that you can use a cleaner tablet for a more intense clean. But I was looking for something that replaced the need for chemicals and must admit if I am going to have to buy and use tablets with it then I may as well stick to my old method which costs me about £1.00 a month instead of £68.00 and then a £1.00 a month.I would also have liked to see a rechargeable battery built in so that it is not tethered to a 3 pin plug socket and could be kept in the bathroom for ease of use. On the positive side it looks good, it is easy to use and uses a recognised cleaning method but for me it does not appear to clean any better or easier than my old method and is much more expensive.

At time of review this is priced at £67.50. Not cheap, however small things are difficult to clean and this does a good job.It’s easy to use which is good. It’s not loud so you could use it while kids are sleeping or while you’re working.Jewellery and my mouth guard all fit in it fine. I just wish it was big enough to accommodate glasses too.Great product

Opro ultrasonic cleaning pod, uses vibration and uv light to clean and disinfect dental devices such as aligners & retainers etc.Easy to use, just add water (can also add 1/2 a cleaning tablet) drop the aligners in and switch the device on. Cord is fairly long, and the unit itself is compact and minimalist. The 5 minute cycle works well for every day use, however I tested the thorough clean function on an old set and it didn’t make much difference to the clarity so I’d say this is best used for upkeep.

This arrives in a nicely printed box that measures approx 11.5cm x 12cm x 16.5cm.It looks gift ready & would be easy to wrap.Inside the box, you get the pod itself which is very neat looking - approx 11cm diameter x 11cm high which looks exactly like the product images.It has a rubberised ring on the base to make it more non slip, so it feels very stable & unlikely to be knocked over.The instructions are in English only, but it's straightforward to use.This requires a 3 pin socket to plug it into for use & it's one of those bigger plugs that has a bit sticking down below the socket, so you will need room to plug it in.The lead is approx 1.5m long & white so it goes nicely with the pod.It's very quiet in use (sounds like a very quiet vibration which I can't hear at all with the radio on low, so you could actually use it in a room somebody was sleeping in without waking them)It doesn't need much water - just remember not to fill it until after you've put your retainer or guard inside it, as the MAX level is including that, so less than a glass is loads, but it will depend what you are putting in it.The lid has an auto close & won't stay open on it's own, so you need to hold it with one hand while you fill/empty this.I found that a little annoying, but you get used it very fast.It has 3 cleaning options, a 5 minute water only general cleaning cycle, a 5 minute use with cleaning tablets thorough cleaning cycle & a ten minute (do the thorough cleaning cycle twice with tablets) ultra cleaning cycle.It can just be used with water, but really you do need to get the tablets too.If gifting this, I'd recommend also purchasing a packet of cleaning tablets to go with it.It's a discreet way of keeping your retainer/guard/etc.. clean although, you do really need to be near a sink so you can tip out the used water/get water to fill it as it's not meant to be left full of water between uses.

I wear a mouthguard at night because I'm one of those odd people that grinds their teeth while they sleep. For years I've had a glass of water in the kitchen with my mouthguard in it. Guests love it because it's creepy. But now I have this. Took it out of the box, filled it with water up to the line, dropped my manky mouthguard into it and plugged it in. Five minutes of mild buzzing later and it's completely clean. Brilliant.

I've had a few of these cleaners and they all have the same Sonic principle of cleaning jewelry and items Etc.This one is easy to use small compact and does the job useful for small items of jewelry mouthguards Dentures Etc.
