Very versatile lock - I really like the many ways to unlock. I have just installed it this week, so time will tell as to how it holds up, so far so good. The video and written instructions were very helpful. I replaced a traditional door lock (key only) that was quite old and not working well. I gave it only 4 stars because the app (bluetooth) can only be used by one person. While you can add people to access it, it must be via fingerprint, code, or fob, of course you can make more keys, but I was expecting it to be like hotels where you can share with many personnel. However, that's a minor issue, as the other methods all work well. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a versatile door lock.

On August 9th, 2026, I received Kucacci’s keyless entry fingerprint lock from Amazon. For reference, today is September 3, 2026. As an access control industry expert for a major manufacturer, I like to test smart locks in my home. Today, I was locked in my home office!!! This is a DO NOT BUY recommendation!!! Every lock needs to provide free egress meaning you can always exit. This lock did not do that. I was locked in my office. This lock is a LIFE SAFETY ISSUE. If there was an emergency or a fire, I would have been trapped. I was excited when I first installed this lock, which was easy. First, it is more of a cylindrical design than tubular. Most comparable commercial locks are cylindrical but grade 1 or 2, whereas most residential locks are tubular. This appears to be a grade 3 cylindrical which is fine for residential use. The installation is simple, the aesthetics are some of the best on the market, the app is easy with more functionality than I expected (i.e., passage mode and scheduling). All of this is meaningless with its inferior mechanical design. No lock should ever prevent free egress unless the lock function is designed to do that, which is a rare use case. I have tested multiple smart home products, and most have battery life issues (e.g., Yale, Danalock), but not this. This is a whole other issue that is more serious. For comparison, this is like buying a new car, driving it on the highway and losing your steering and braking capability all at once. But in that scenario, you cannot climb out the window like I did today. Fortunately, I had a screwdriver in my office, so I was able to remove the secure side (battery pack) and access the internal mechanism. However, I was unable to retract the latch. I ended up tearing into it in a failed attempt to release the latch. I had to climb out the window and kick the door in from the other side since this is an inswing door. Now, I have a busted lock, and I have to fix my door frame. (I had to select at least one star. Because of this major defect, I wanted to select one star)

Easy to install and very convenient to use. My mom doesn’t like using a key to open the door, so the keyless entry is especially useful for her. The fingerprint reader and keypad respond quickly, and having multiple ways to unlock the door makes everything much easier. It also feels sturdy and looks modern.

Excellent smart door lock. Install was very easy. We had a bit of problem with the software at first. But we just needed to learn how to scroll to the menu of options, then it was very easy. Has finger print, code numbers, a scan card and has been excellent and very helpful to unlock door when arms are full of groceries, etc. Both sides come with a little pad for installing on metal doors. And their customer service was awesome and got back to us right away! I would buy again and highly recommend.

Installation was relatively straightforward, and the modern black design looks very sleek. The minor downside is that the fingerprint scanner can occasionally take a couple of tries to register properly. Overall, it’s a great, affordable upgrade!

Je ne recommande pas l'appareil si vous souhaitez utiliser principalement le déverrouillage par empreinte digitale. - Le déverrouillage à l'aide du porte clé fonctionne plus ou moins bien (prend souvent du temps avant que le déverrouillage fonctionne) - Le déverrouillage par codes fonctionne assez bien. Il faut cependant parfois appuyer plusieurs fois sur le clavier avant que celui-ci s'illumine indiquant qu'il est prêt à recevoir votre code. - Cela fait plus d'un an que j'utilise l'une de ces serrures et elle fonctionne toujours bien. Je ne suis toutefois pas en mesure de me prononcer sur sa durabilité à long terme, ni sur sa résistance aux voleurs.
