Schwalbe Insider Rennrad Faltreifen (Rollentrainer) // 35-622 (700x35C)

Schwalbe has a good range so be careful to make sure that the tyre size is correct for your wheel. Good fit, smooth tyre. A side benefit of the slick trainer is that it is quieter than a normal road tyre.

This type did reduce the noise generated by my bike when used in a Elite Tuo trainer. I’ve read reviews where people mention the tyre wearing out, if that’s happening to you it happens because the tyre isn’t making good contact with the roller on the trainer, just tighten it a bit more, you’ll notice it also stops slipping when you sprint hard.

This is the first time I'd bought a trainer tyre so was a little confused as to which size to buy for my 29er Mountain Bike, I needn't have worried as this one fit perfectly and works a treat. I've only used the tyre for maybe 25 hours or so since purchased but it still looks and feels brand new. If / when it finally wears out will definitely purchase again and would highly recommend.

My first purchase of these kind of tyres and it seems really robust and should last a few miles on the turbo trainer. A great fit to my bike, indoor cycling now a dream.

Fitted to a spare Raleigh cycle which normally takes a 38cm tyre in order for it to be used on the Elite Novo turbo force trainer. The whole combination of Elite trainer; Elite training mat and this training tyre makes for a very quiet exercise workout.

Works a treat. Good grippy surface that doesn't glaze over like normal tyres. Oddly, it's quieter too.

I spent literally all of 2023 sitting on my Wahoo Kickr Snap training for the Leadville 100 MTB race. I used my Kona Jake as my trainer bike and kept my gravel tires on because every dime I could spare went to prepping my XC race bike for the race. If I had known how quiet this tire was, I would have swapped it a LONG time ago.My gravel tires hummed so loudly that I had to wear noise-cancelling headphones. Even then, it was hard to hear podcasts or shows over the sound of the tires. I knew these would be more quiet, but they are all but silent. I am kicking myself for not dropping the 40 bucks way sooner. It would have saved me a huge headache in the long run. The difference is astronomical, and maybe one of the most impactful upgrades I have ever made, considering the amount of time I spend on the trainer these days.

Recently bought an indoor trainer for my mountain bike, and the original tire was super loud. Installed this tire and made a huge difference, I can barely hear it now!

En 29' cuesta un poco pero se puede y va genial

Ottima fattura, bello e funzionale. Montato su una MTB con telaio 43 e ruota da 29 pollici. Ci è voluta una buona mezz’ora per il montaggio ma ne è valsa la pena… rumore quasi impercettibile scorrevolezza ottima, non scalda. Veramente consigliato

Ich hatte eigentlich den Tacx-Reifen im Visier für meinen neuen Wahoo Kickr Snap Rollentrainer. Da ich diese Rolle aber mit einem überzähligen Trekkingrad benutze, wollte ich gerne die 35mm Breite des Schwalbe Insider (700er Größe) nutzen, das bedeutet im Zweifel weniger Schlupf an der Rolle bei hoher Belastung als mit den (meiner Erinnerung nach) 25mm des Tacx.Der Reifen ließ sich mit bloßen Händen (Männerhände :-) auf die Felge drücken (Alex Rim 622x18); mit weniger kräftigen Händen läßt sich der Reifen sicher mit kleinen Kunststoffhebeln aus dem Fahrradwerkzeug problemlos über den Felgenrand drücken. Daß der Reifen plattgefaltet kommt gehört so. War mein erster "Faltreifen", der sich aber tatsächlich sehr einfach auf der Felge in seine richtige Form legte; den Schlauch hatte ich vorher leicht "in Form" aufgepumpt, der Mantel hat an keiner Stelle versucht, den Schlauch zu klemmen. Ich benutze Continental Tour-Schläuche, aufgepumpt auf gute 6 bar, damit läuft der Reifen prima auf dem Kickr Snap (Walze mit 2 Umdrehungen angedrückt). Das Abrollgeräusch ist sehr gering, Abrieb nach den ersten Kilometern nicht festzustellen.Nachtrag 10/2018: Reifen hat jetzt 1.800km auf der Rolle runter und ist immer noch gut in Schuss, Abrieb ist gering bei 6 bar.
