Camping Axe - 21 inches Chopping Axe for Wood Splitting and Kindling, 1055 High Carbon Steel and Beech Wooden Handle, with Leather Sheath - Head 1.5 lbs

I got it mostly for decoration. Gives off a Viking vibing. When I have used it, it has worked great. Feels light, the handle fits comfortable in your hands, and it is very durable.

I bought the 21” bearded axe and after some light testing yesterday, this axe is wonderful! It sends huge chunks flying every swing and holds an edge like no axe I’ve ever had before. The whetstone works very well and helps to put on an edge that it did not come with (came very dull). Also the sheath is too small, it seems to be for one of the smaller axes shown, which must’ve been a simple mistake by the packer. Will look to contact the company about a replacement. Other than that, I’m very satisfied!

This is definitely not a wall hanger. Feels substantial and the hickory finish is gorgeous.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice weight, and size. Not super sharp out the box, but it took edge real quick after sharpening for a second or two.

Good backpacking axe

Out the box this thing is ready to use.Sharp enough that's for sure. It has a really decent weight and the handel feels like it's cut for comfort and control. I own a few different types of axes and based on looks (viking raider) this is now my new favorite. Really the only issue i have is the Sheath. The snap is not lined up to close properly. See the picture. Could wet the strap and strech it to fit. Also my personal preference would be a heavier weight leather. This seems like a 2-3 and i would prefer a 7-8.Overall I'm happy with this and would recommend this

The media could not be loaded.  It's an excellent ax, it just lacks a bit of edge, but it's something that can be easily fixed, I already have a few for camping and this will be at the top of my list.

My husband is sooooo excited with this axe I gave as a gift. Looks very sturdy and head feels very secure. We are looking forward to using it. The only bad thing is the button is incorrectly placed and you can't close the sheath. We did push in the axe well and also tried to stretch the little strap but no success. We will try to tweak it but it's a bummer. The only reason it's not a 5star. I will update review once we use it to add more details
