The low cost Fix that I didn’t know I needed ☺️
I needed ( desperately ) to repaste my CPU 12th gen i7 12700k after a couple years.(PC built in 2022)I was not having any particular heat issues ( or at least I didn’t think so) butI figured I should address the known issue of a “flimsy CPU bracket” while I had the CPU cooler off.I bought this over 6 months ago and waited a bit to leave a review. It went in perfectly and was very nice quality.IMHO it is better looking and feeling than the thermalright brand one … I’ve seen that one and it was pretty decent too , and seems to work fine for a friend who has one, but this just seems to have an “okay, this is …wow” factor to it. I have not seen the “grizzly “ one so I cannot make a comparison.I have no special tools to measure its squareness and levelness but I can say it looked and felt very nice and it works! It was super easy to put on . Took me like 5 minutes sitting in the floor with the computer tipped sideways 😂.I DID use the included paste .It was THICK and buttery! I used the included spatula to spread an even layer . I like to do an X or pea application but this was thick enough I tough “ let’s spread it on like creamy peanut butter on toast 😂. While it was thick it did spread and smooth out nicely , no ridges or runs . I was really impressed with it. Sorry I don’t have any lab accurate comprehensive data test results to compare. But I can report what I have seen in real world usage over the last year. ( and that’s probably a better testament than lab tests) I do extended sessions ( 4 hour +) CPU intensive gaming ( combat flight sims and other games ) often while streaming and then do video editing/processing. (I regularly spend 12 hrs a day on the PC , no joke ) Just keeping an eye on performance and heat numbers over time I’d say that -> with the stock intel bracket and Artic MX-4 paste <- my “extreme use temps” would be 78-89c . My “average use temps” were 64-72c . And idle was 38-42c .The 12+ gen intel CPU’s are notoriously hot so being air cooled in small case I felt okay-ish with those numbers .So it’s been around 6 months since I installed the NAB bracket and used the included NAB thermal paste.I’ve consistently seen my “extreme use” temps 62-72 , my “normal use” temps 42- 58c . And my “idle temps” 32-36c.These numbers have been very consistent since the upgrade . That is a marked reduction in CPU temps across all sorts of real world uses. And the paste seems to be holding up well.I can also say that with the stock cooler the contact between the CPU and plate of the cooler was, in-fact, horrible ( as seen from the picture of the removed cooler’s copper contact plate )I would think that was due to the really crappy stock intel bracket .Everything seems fine after the upgrade .Temps are remarkable lower and very consistent. They have remained that way for over 6 months.I am very happy with this product. It came well packaged in retail packaging. It included :hex key wrenchNew screws1 gram of paste in a syringe style tube with twist off cap ( not a cheap squeeze tube)Spatula to spread with.I feel like if this was a better known brand they could easily retail it for $30-$35 at a store and it still would feel like an amazing value .

Effective, Comparable To Similar Frames...
I've used most of the different contact frames. They're all very similar in fitment and you should see a few degrees reduction in CPU package temps, especially if you push your cpu. I'm using this NAB frame on a new build; MSI Z790 Ace Max board, 14900K, Optimus Signature cpu water block and full custom water cooled loop including RTX 4080 Super Founders Edition with EK gpu block. Using Kryonaut Extreme paste. Just take your time installing the contact frame and do not over tighten. Works well.

Dropped 12900k Temps
Installed on a MSI Z690 edge board, 12900k, NH-D15 air tower cooler. After installing this cpu frame my temps drops significantly. I had to under volt my cpu a LOT before installing this frame. After installing it, I can now run my 12900k at intel’s spec. Word to the wise: just don’t buy a 12th or 13th gen intel cpu. Period. But if you do, then you are going to NEED to buy a cpu frame like this one.

Super easy to install, looks very precisely made.
Yes i think is well made and can trust do the job.

Quite easy to install
This is pretty straightforward to install, probably even easier than the stock CPU clamp, and it works well.

Precision machined
Great peace of mind. Will be buying one for all future builds.

Perfect fit
Fits great does what it is suppose to. Works better than the stock socket holder allows better contact to the AIO for better cooling. Idle and load temps were between 2-5 degrees C cooler.
