A friend recently got me into foraging and after reading a few websites and ordering some field guides I came up on this journal! It is the perfect companion to any field guide or is wonderful if you already have that knowledge base. It provides ample space to list your finds, their uses, and the time of year that you can find them. You have a place to draw examples of your finds and the book is easy to draw, colour, and write on. I have already found a variety of different wild veggies/herbs around and I can't wait to add them. I would recommend this journal and plan on purchasing a couple for family members to also get them involved on their own foraging journey!

This book is everything I hoped it would be. The lines are a good size for writing on and the paper is thick. I hope that our kids and grandkids will take over and live on our land, and this is just what I was looking for to record where I have found food in the woods out back. It will be a good summer project for me to start filling it all in for them.

This guide is invaluable to anyone starting or looking to share their foraging experience. Living off your surroundings can be a rich and rewarding experience. This book is thoughtfully put together in a concise and functional manner. I won’t go foraging without my foragers workbook again, any fellow foragers would be aided greatly by this quality workbook.

The workbook idea is amazing and practical. It is well planned and user friendly and the possibility of a keepsake for my family is a special bonus.
