The Rod's ready to work well with alexa. They were also easy to set up to work with Alexa if you already have the Smart Life app installed and working. No problem I had with the rods was mounting them on the wall. They do have some Hardware to mount them on the wall but it's really made to mount to the ceiling. You can make it work with the L brackets provided I found that the connection was really not very sturdy but it was good enough to work. It really needs another hole drilled into it. The holes and they L bracket don't match up with the holes in the ceiling bracket. If it had been easy to mount the wall I would have given it five stars. Overall I love these smart rods

The media could not be loaded. We’ve been in our house for 15 years and since the week we moved in, we’ve had these tacky, paper temporary shades on 3 12-feet off the ground windows in our living room. They have to be covered, because as the sun goes down in the late afternoon, it will blind anyone in the kitchen. This sucks when you’re trying to cook dinner.I’ve wanted electric shades for 15 years!I ran across this kit on Amazon and the price wasn’t insane, so I thought we’d give it a try. The installation was a little harder than what some other people have posted. That could be because we were trying to put up a 12 foot long curtain rod 12 feet off the ground, but with some patience, we managed.A week later (and another order to Amazon for curtain hooks) I was ready to hang the curtains.Voilà - they worked on the first try! A quick addition to an Alexa app I was already using and “Alexa, open curtains” worked like a charm too.I wish we hadn’t waited so long! Now I’ve got to get another one for the same windows in the front of the house. Can’t wait to do them too!

Very very cool. Put in dining rm. Now we can have the window open automatically. Going to get one for every room.

**Updated ReviewCustomer Service contacted me to resolve my one star review. They tried their best to ensure I was able to mount the ceiling track. They took into account my suggestion to update the enclosed instructions to the updated mounting materials.I used this motorized track for a curtain divider between officer/nursery. The enclosed instructions were dated and did not match the “updated” ceiling mount. The images in the video also didn’t match the enclosed mounting pieces. Not to mention, the remote control didn’t match the one described in the instructions. And to top it off, the battery in the remote was bad, so I had to go to the store and purchase another one. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing this product again.

Terrible written instructions and can only message Amazon for support. Need to buy the wall mounts but can’t find them anywhere. So far this is less than impressive.

These smart curtains bring a whole new level to convenience and smart homes! They are really easy to install, and the instructions are easy to follow. Setting them up was simple enough too, and they quickly and easily connected to our phone app along with our smart home devices. The convenience of being able to close them, while sitting on the couch watching a movie, is amazing! They operate smoothly and quietly, and they provide the perfect amount of coverage, depending on what size you get. We absolutely love hem!
