I had a lot of promise after reading the other reviews about this toy and the chew guard technology. I have a 10 year old terrier who loves soft toys but they never last very long. This toy arrived on the Friday morning and by the Sunday evening my dog had managed to rip a hole in its head with stuffing coming out. I had anticipated with all of the assurances provided by the seller that this would have lasted longer than 3 days...I am so disappointed by this product and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone.

Best bit - for me - this toy has a large squeak bladder - I'm not scared of my boy getting it out and swallowing it if he does break through the 'chew guard' coating.The toy has lasted over 24 hours - which is good for a destructive Patterdale, even with missing teeth, most toys are in pieces in hours.And, as well as the Amazon guarantee, this comes with a 30 day replacement guarantee from the manufacturer - I haven't checked the terms and conditions on that though.It is a cute toy, with lots of detail and reduced choking risk for a small dog with the size of the squeak bladder. I have one very happy dog.

Bought this toy for my beagles 2nd birthday someone recommended it to me, I expected it destroyed in no time at all.Five months in and still intact, this is a 1st for a Teddy, I have since purchased another go dog toy, I'm really impressed with them, have recommended them in our beagle group and to friends.I have bought many other well known dog "tough" toys which have been shredded, the go dog are definite value for money and very durable, will be buying them another for Christmas lol.

This is our dogs favourite soft toy so far from so many that we’ve tried. He’s a border collie who normally manages to remove limbs, kills squeakers and split seams on soft toys very quickly (within a few days). On arrival my boyfriend commented that he didn’t give it more than a couple of days.We’ve now had the large dragon for almost 4 months and it’s still in one piece. Have noticed some small damage but the main bulk of it is still holding strong. Think maybe because it’s not as stuffed as other soft toys the seams aren’t under as much strain. The squeaker is still going strong despite the amount our dog has played with it.Will be buying more in the future!

Destroyed within 15 minutes. And when I say destroyed I mean ripped apart. Squeaker torn out which is not safe for a dog as could easily be swallowed. I bought this as reviews mentioned it was tough for chewers. Kong plush toys aren’t exceptionally durable but last way longer than this brand.

Have to get a new one each Christmas as my Mum's dog loves them and is his favourite toy but after a year he has normally killed the squeak and looks very grubby and worn so needs a replacement. They have always managed to last the year even though all his other toys are ripped up and destroyed well before the year is out. They are well made but obviously if your dog is determined he could rip it but they are definitively a lot stronger that most soft dog toys.

I have a miniature wire haired dachshund who really likes to chew and who has destroyed many different types of toy that claim to be ‘ chew resistant ‘ ( sometimes within minutes ). However the chew guard technology that go dog toys are made of is amazing. Herbie has not managed to even pull a thread from the toy and that poor dragon has been constantly chewed, shaken and thrown around and aside from the fact it’s a little dirty ( but can be washed in the machine) it’s like new!I have ordered another one - only downside it comes from America so you have to wait but good things are worth waiting for. Have recommended to all my Dachshund friends and people I meet on walks who have the same ‘destroyer’ Problem. Absolutely amazing product.

This product arrived very swiftly. Good quality, however it's not totally chew-proof. My 10-month-old pup managed to chew a hole in the toy next to the embroidered logo after 2 weeks of having it, hence my 4-star rating. The stuffing from the toy's tail came out, I pulled out whatever remained, and stitched back up the hole, so it's not the end of the world, or the toy.Just be sure not to leave your dog unsupervised with this toy, and if they're excessive chewers it could be worth investing in a needle and thread.
