I have been using Hyper X products for many years and I absolutely love their sound quality. They focus on a great products with fair pricing. This Cloud 3 is so comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I even use this for my job to take calls in. The quality of the mic, and the overall quality of the audio coming through the speakers is just 10/10. With other head sets I worry about getting the top of the head dip from wearing them for too long, and this headset helps keep that from happening with this super soft padding. It doesn't press against your head too tight. The noise cancellation is great. You can simply get swept up and away with whatever you're listening to. I have done a lot of music, gaming and actual work with it and definitely will replace them with another pair if these give out. The plug gives you tons of options. Headphone jack, USB C and classic USB, so you can use it in any way you're in need. Love this product and will continue to sing Hyper X praises.

The headset is comfortable enough to wear for extended gaming sessions, and the audio quality is better than I expected at this price point. Good value for the price. I purchased two of these. .:: Raw Scores (not taking cost into consideration) ::. Microphone: (4/10) - Acceptable, but not great. Audio quality: (4/10) - Acceptable, but not great. Weight: (9/10) - Very lightweight, great. Comfort: (7/10) - Good. Wearable for 2-3 hours at a time without discomfort. Not great for longer periods. Thick/warm ear padding. Has a moderate-light clamping pressure and clamp padding is good. Spatial audio: (4/10) - Works but not good for any serious gaming advantage. Overall review: I think this headset earns 4 stars taking price into consideration. It functions perfectly and comfortably enough to use for a budget-friendly gaming headset. However, do not expect high quality hardware in this price range or you will be disappointed. It will not compete nor come close to $150+ headsets in quality but it's comfortable at a lower price range, which is very important if you're on a budget.

This was a present for my college son. According to him, the headset is durable and travels well. He also said the mic has good sound and the headset blocks most noise and is comfortable. He uses it for gaming and said it's perfect for it and would recommend it. I believe it's good value for the price.

I have bought HyperX headsets for about 10 years now. From 2017ish to 2024 I just bought the Stinger Ones because they were cheap and lightweight. However in 2024 I had enough money that I wanted to invest in a better headset. It has been 2 years since my purchase and it is still one of the most comfortable headsets I have tried. I am apart of the collegiate esports scene and have tried multiple other brands but nothing is as light and durable as the HyperX Cloud 3. My headset survived 6 moves and multiple clumsy drops or falls off a desk. It has been stuffed in a bag with other equipment, textbooks and notebooks so I would have it at practices. Now on this day 2 years later (Almost exactly on the date I bought it Jul.18 2024 and it just lost the speaker in the left ear today Jul. 15 2026) it has broken. Definitely looking to buy another and honestly its solely based on comfortability. The cushions are soft and feel nice. As well as the adjustability being able to stay at the exact change without sliding. Overall a top tier choice and now that they are on sale I highly recommend for anyone interested. The sound quality at times can be lacking however the comfort and light weight of the headset make up for it. It still can hold its own against higher end headsets for audio but some other do pick up better.

This headset was worth the price I paid for it, it was a clear upgrade from my Logitech g432 headset in all aspects sound quality, comfort and build quality, they are also very sleek and lightweight. The headphones where quite loud so I had to turn down my volume so the drivers are really good nice amount of bass good for music not only just for gaming. Ps the microphone was so good it was better than my separate microphone the Maono PD100X I'm now using the headset microphone from now on.

I hesitate to give this a 1-star review b/c I realize there may be some user error involved. My experience with this headset has been quite poor. I work remotely for a call center. I take inbound calls and do the occasional outbound. I specifically searched for "headset with side tone" and this kept coming up with "spatial" audio. The problem is different manufacturers will refer to side tone in different ways. So I hoped that my repeated attempts to find a side tone headset would pay off. Spatial audio is NOT side tone. First - I had trouble connecting and reached out to the customer service for the product. I had to download an app to use the headset. But the app I downloaded wasn't the right app. I had to uninstall and download another. I had to always run this app when using the headset. Except for just opening the app I have no way of knowing if it's running correctly. I never managed to even figure out if I could get side tone working. I never heard it during the course of my testing and use, but I never took a proper call with it because it caused so many issues with my work software. My IT person suggested I could keep trying but based on their research there are known issues with the drivers for this headset for this use. It was extremely heavy - I don't take a lot of calls in the morning but I sat at my computer for the first 45 mins of my shift and my head just hurt more and more. I had some neck pain and finally took it off. I don't know if it's the shape/size of my ears (which I have literally never thought about once in my life) but to go over my ears the set had to be titled at a specific angle which made them slide a bit every time I moved my head. When I readjusted and put the headband in a more comfortable position it didn't sit properly over my ear. I've had different headsets in the past and that has never been an issue. I have worked on a phone off and on for 20 years. A lot of headsets. My favorite and best finally died and it is discontinued. I have to have a wired headset for my job, I cannot use a wireless headset so that feature was great for me. I did appreciate the mute button position. I hate when mute buttons are on the dangling cord. Especially if there's no clip to keep it close (and there isn't one on this, either). During the course of troubleshooting with customer service, it was determined that it doesn't matter that this has a headphone jack, USB C, and USB A...I could only use one style for my purposes. The adapter is quite large and made it stick out pretty far from my PC. (I use a mini-PC b/c it's all I need for my work). To be clear - this may be the perfect headset for gaming. I just also thought it would work for my needs in a call center using my PC. I never got it to work well enough. This is maybe the 4th or 5th headset I've tried in the course of the last 6 weeks while my preferred headset was dying and I was trying to replace it. I never thought I was that picky about a headset. I work in a quiet space so I don't need a ton of noise cancelling anything (mic or audio). My 2 main requirements are side tone and wired...and if I added a third - a clip so I can clip the control buttons to a convenient spot on my shirt. This headset met only 1 of those 3 preferences. The fit, weight, and how it worked was an issue. Decent customer service from Hyper X, though!

Very good headset. Comfy, good sound and great value for the money. One downside is that the on cable controller that was there in the older versions are gone in favor for controllers on the headset. I prefer the old version in that regard.
