I don't have Bluetooth in my car so I came on Amazon to see what my options were to fix my problem.I liked this device for it's easy use and it seemed like it was exactly what I was looking for. It came in pretty fast. It was easy to attach it to my car and phone. Sounds pretty good, too! I am very impressed with it. Now I can listen to my favorite songs while commuting back and forth to work. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

I used devices like this even before they deleted the headphone jacks from phones. The phone can be on the charger, and you can still listen on your wired headphones even if you aren't right by the phone.This product adds a great video display so you can see exactly how much battery is left, plus seems to have a longer battery life than other devices I've used. It's a little bit larger than some, but well worth it for the relatively huge backlit display and long battery life.I haven't used it to add bluetooth to a headphone jack on an older stereo (i.e. car audio system), but they provide the adapter so you can go the other way and stream bluetooth music from your phone and play it on your 'old, car stereo.I'm very pleased with this product!

I really like this setup fory 2008 Chevy Tahoe. It's quick to charge. Reliable and easy to connect to. The only complaint is that it doesn't match radio volume. The music and calls through this are much lower so when I disconnect or switch off of it I have to make sure I turn it way down for the FM.

This has survived multiple falls onto concrete and works as if it was new. Audio quality is a bit lower than direct aux connection without bluetooth, but the quality is great. For the price, you can't go wrong.My only complaint is the annoying voice that tells you if you reached Max Volume/Min Volume. Would have preferred a simple beep.

In Nov 2023, I bought and compared several bluetooth receivers with built in microphone for hands free calling. I decided to return this one. The MP3 audio sounds fine. The hands free also works well. My big complaint with the J49 is that it lacks audio equalization. As the music transitions from song to the next song, I constantly have to adjust the volume level because the sound is either too loud or too soft. The worst part is when I am listening to google map direction while playing music. The google map is louder than the music audio. My second issue is that it lacks a separate on/off button. Overall, the design is flawed in that each button performs too many functions. This BT unit is difficult to use.

Easy setup and pairing. Amazing for the price

It powers up, links with my phone but the volume only goes to 16 and I’m trying to use it on an older stereo system. No matter how much volume I turn the stereo volume knob to it only goes to a very low volume level of 16, the stereo goes to 45. I’ve spent most of the day trying to find another receiver that can go higher on the volume. Most of these don’t mention the level of volume in their description

My car doesn’t have bluetooth, and I was looking for something small that works, this product is perfect, the quality is good, connects right to the aux and you can even charge it while in use, love it
