Its not cheap garbage. I bought the 2 pack and not a bad deal. just something to deter would be thieves... maybe not a guarantee, but certainly an obstacle to theft.

I got 2 sets of the 2.5 ft cables. I have used one set so far. The other set is a backup. They appear to be well-made and are easy to manipulate around something. I would buy these again. But, I would get the 4 ft ones. They would serve my purposes better because I could wrap them around my posts twice instead of only once. I like the orange color near the hoops because it is easy to see. Amazon shipped these in a big box with some other items, one of which was heavy. The tape on both the top and bottom of the box was broken by the time it arrived. So I am surprised - and grateful - these cords, which were in small, plastic bags, did not fall out of the box. I wish Amazon would criss-cross the tape around the boxes, and ship heavy items in separate boxes.

Purchased to be able to securely lock motorcycle helmet to my sportbike. The cable is well constructed and fully wrapped in vinyl to protect against scratches. Works well for my requirements.
