Very nice bag!
While I have only taken this suitcase on one trip so far (with several plane changes), it worked great. The quality is good. When closed it has a good seal, locks worked great, wheels were quiet and smooth, handle worked well, and laptop compartment was good. The only negative would be that with a laptop in place, whenever you put something into the zipper compartment it must be pretty skinny (of course laptops are getting skinner). But it is a compromise. Make the compartment wider the case's width becomes oversized for airlines or take away from the inside and make the packing compartment smaller. Bottomline is that the company made a good compromise. I did not need more space on my trip; however, this case does not expand like many of the zippered cases. I give it five stars because of its design and high quality.

Excellent suitcase with only one slight flaw
I travel a lot, and I tend to be a snob when it comes to luggage. For my checked bag, I use luggage from Monos, which is a very costly bag. But if you use your checked bag a lot, you need something well built. For my carry-on I had used a bag from Travelpro, which is a much beloved brand. However, that was a zipper bag, which is what most often fails on suitcases. That broken bag brings me to this suitcase. There are not a lot of clam-shell options for carry-on bags, so I took a risk on a brand I frankly did not trust. I am very pleased that I went with this option. This is a well-built suitcase that I think will handle extensive use. The bag is sturdy, but it is very light for the build quality. The bag arrived with a reusable plastic cover, in pristine condition with the exception of one single lose thread at the top of the bag. I got rid of the plastic cover immediately because -- like all covers -- it doesn't cover the wheels which is the dirtiest part of the bag. PRO TIP: Before storing this inside a larger suitcase, I simply put this in a plastic garbage bag to keep the inside of my larger suitcase clean. The garbage bag isn't glamorous, but it goes on easier than a cover and it covers the wheels. The handles are sturdy and they have a slow-descend feature which is pointless but fun. The TSA locks -- mostly pointless -- can be set easily and they function well if you use that type of thing. The side panel access is very nice. When you open the side panel, two clothes straps prevent the panel from falling all the way open; however, the side velcro straps can be unattached if you want the side panel to open all the way up and lay on the ground. The side panel compartments are made from a plastic-like slick neoprene material, not from a traditional cloth. This material is very impressive. It feels great, it will hold up to stains, and it will protect electronics from scratches better than cotton which can hold dirt. The only draw back of a side panel is that is reduces the space inside the suitcase slightly, so keep that in mind. The 20 inch size of the bag is absolutely prefect. It is big for a carry-on but small enough that it will pass the strict requirements of budget airlines or airlines outside of the US. The only slight flaw with the bag is the interior design. Like almost all suitcases, one side of the bag is protected by a zipper panel and one side is protected with just a elastic cross strap. The best suitcases have a full zipper panel on both sides. The cross strap on one side is fine if you use packing cubes and you're well organized. But if you had to toss in a bunch of stuff into your bag before the flight home and now you need to open the suitcase at the airport to get your winter jacket, having both sides of your bag completely enclosed is great. The elastic cross strap isn't going to keep everything in your bag and something might fall out when opened. Overall, I think this is an excellent suitcase for the frequent traveler.

Carry on suitcase
This came quick and just as described, it’s a hard shell case with zippers and combination lock for security. It has a pocket place for laptop and can be locked as well. The heels work great the roll smoothly and turn easily. The packing space is good long as you know how to pack for travel. If not u may get two to three outfits but the way I packed I got 5 outfits and 3 shoes and toiletries. It’s good for travel especially with the locks. Durable and worth the money

This carry on suitcase won't charge my phone
The suitcase itself is rather nice, made with quality materials, it looks good and rolls nicely and all the room I would need in a carry on. However, the charger doesn't seem to hold a charge even after being plugged in overnight. It won't charge my phone (doesn't even start to charge the phone) unless the USB used to charge the suitcase is plugged into a wall adapter. I thought maybe my adapter was bad and wasn't giving the suitcase a charge but with the USB plugged into the wall and my phone plugged into the suitcase the phone was charging. This created another problem, my phone started acting very strange. I couldn't use any apps nor could I go to another app, my phone became inoperable. I quickly removed my phone from the USB and will not try to use charger from the suitcase again. I'd like to give this suitcase a better rating as it is very nice but with it unable to charge a phone as advertised then I obviously can't give it a higher rating. One other thing I'd like to see on the suitcase is a light of some kind telling me the battery in the suitcase is charging. There is nothing that tells me the suitcase is charging nor lets me know how much charge is left. A button you can push to see the battery level as you don't want it lit all the time and drain the battery. I believe this is absolutely necessary. I'm sure the suitcase I received is an anomaly and other than the inability to charge a phone (or anything else for that matter) I am happy with it, I just can't recommend it.

Just right
Very happy with this suitcase. It is very light, the wheels glide smoothly and the compartments are great. I don't travel a ton but this suitcase is just what I needed to protect my electronics and pack a few days essentials when needed. Very happy with this!

if u are going for 48 hours great
there are better bigger less expensive carry On's than this. Its only good for 2 changes of cloths, toiletries and work out outfit . i thought it would replace current carry on, but its useless for more than a 2 max 3-day trip. My wife took one at it and asked if that's her makeup carry on. That pretty much tells ya.

Quality is not worth the price
The frame was dented on the first use and it was a quick 1 hour nonstop flight where the bag was not full & could not have been handled too much. A few of the seams from the front tech pocket ripped too. Overall, really disappointed with the quality, not worth the $200+ (with tax) price tag. Wish I was within my return/exchange window to at the very least swap it out.
