I got these for my backyard. My backyard is smaller so I couldn't escape the smell. Makes sense that they stink to attract the flies, which it did very well, but I can't stand the smell. Emptied a bag full of flies about 2 weeks later.

I’ve had this fly trap in my yard for 3 days and there’s only 1 fly in it, but hundreds or thousands in my yard. The other brands would be full by now. Rescue brand or black flag work best, cost a little more but actually catches flys, I’m surprised how bad these ones are, total waste

They say you trap bees better with honey than vinegar. I wish this smelled like honey. You don't notice the smell right away, and then you get a waft of it and it's awful. My first attempt was to hang this near the grill to keep the flies away when we're outside. I caught 4 flies for the week it was up. The smell at the end was awful. Then I hung the second one near my trash cans and it caught a dozen the first day.Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think I'm going to use these further away where I can't smell them and use sticky traps where I can smell them.

3 out of 4 would not hold water, when filling the bottom seam would break. And the 4th sat near my trash can for a week and only attracted 5 flies. I switched back to a different brand (it's a little costlier) and by day two it has more than I can count. So this is a hard pass for me!

Tried this product simply because it was a little cheaper than another brand I had used before. I never imagined how much LESS effective it would be. Whatever the bait it made from, the flies have absolutely no appetite for it. After several days it only had a few flies inside. This is nothing compared to the other brand which had maybe about 600 flies within a week. This product doesn’t work. Flies will eat almost anything but they have absolutely no interest in this brand.

But I'm assuming it's what attracts the flies. I put it by my backdoor ans it helps so much.

tuve que poner 2 trampas pensando que alguna de ellas estaba caduca, considero que no es un producto confiable, en la bolsa hay menos de 10 moscas después de haberlas usado 10 días. No recomiendo este producto
