It took me more than 5 minutes that the description says to put these lamps together just to unpack them. These are really packed very well and will take a bit of time to unpack. They were not too hard to put together, I just never had to put a lampshade together like this. You have to carefully roll the lampshade stand, 2 parts, onto the lampshade itself and Velcro the top and bottom together. Instructions help to visualize this.The lamps themselves are heavy and very nice looking. Description says use no more than a 60 watt bulb.For a nice modern looking set of lamps these are very nice.

I liked the white washed look of the bases. A little worried that they might be a bit big, but they proved to be just the right size, look really nice and I fitted them with 60w bulbs. Now for the details: The package comes so small you can't believe there are two lamps in it. That's because there is a "little assembly required." It takes a while to put them together. I messed with the lamp shades for some time until I realized that instead of closing the shades with the velcro and then trying to fit the (metal wheel) rims inside, it's easier to roll the rims onto the shade and then velcro it shut. It will fit fine--just a problem to get it started and keep it rolled on straight. Definitely easier with two people! 4.5 stars

what made me choose these farm house lamps was the design of the base. It is just the shapes and size I was looking for to go with my livingroom. the shades do have to be assembled but it is not difficult at all. I feel the price is fair as they have a nice weight to them.

The light produced is also pretty standard for a table lamp.Seems to be well-made:These lamps are sturdy but softer than wooden lamps to the touch, providing a good quality feel but at a lower price than some solid-wood alternatives.Overall, these are very nice bedside lamps and I'd recommend.

The PORTRES farmhouse table lamps are an awesome design. The lamps gives this pyramid feel and the rustic white washed color is giving life to my rustic furniture.
