Surprisingly this brace actually works great! I wore it on a day that I'm pretty busy and usually need to take something for pain. With this brace on I did not have any pain in my back nor leg. There was a little irritation on the back on my calf where the disc was....but I'll take that over pain any day!! Worth a try for the price. I need a second one on hand. I even got an email from the seller! That's great customer service!!

I bought this for my husband. He is your typical stubborn man, he won't go to the Dr and he won't take any pills. He's had sciatica for a few months. I have him the brace last week and he's worn it everyday. It must be working out he would have put it aside.

Right out of the box I was confused about the best way to wear this because the pictures in the packaging seem to vary (not the best pics) and the instructions said nothing about where to place to pad. I experimented a bit and turned to YouTube for reviews and eventually found a placement that caused the numbness in my leg to lessen. My walking immediately improved, which is major for me because my sciatica has almost become debilitating. When I took the wrap off, all of my symptoms returned. So, I’m taking one star for poor instructions but I’m giving four stars for effectiveness. Not factoring in to my rating is a design that could be streamlined. I cut the elastics off because they just flopped around and were ugly. I couldn’t see that they had any function. The wrap is also wider than it needs to be, I’m sure because they were accommodating the elastics. They could slim it down quite a bit to make it more comfortable and more invisible under clothes while retaining function.

First off, shipping and packaging, etc., was extremely fast. Couldn't have been happier. Terrific company to buy from. As for the actual product, yes, it helps, but there are still times (while wearing it) the sciatica is damn near unbearable, just doesn't happen as often. I would say it was worth the price and the gamble.

I liked that it definitely helped with the pain; however, in tightening the Velcro band to fit and stay in place, the thread through part presses into my calf and leaves an indenture mark. I have to place a pad underneath that part to protect my skin.

It definitely helps with my lower back issues. I only wish it came in a smaller size. I found the Velcro attachment stretched quite a bit.

It works somewhat to relive the pain for my wife but certainly not all of it. She finds it easy to use on and off. She has pretty bad pain so we hoped it would do more. She does recommend this brace because it helps.

The truth is that it doesn't correct the problem. It's more like a Big Band-Aid but I could actually say that while wearing it. I was able to bend for the first time in 6 months.
