I have to say I wish I had this years ago for my Hero4, Hero,9 but I’ve go I now for my Hero11. It’s so easy to use and using it for action videos is great. I do a lot of off-roading and when taking videos of people 4wheeling I’m able to walk to rocks and get up close. When moving from under a vehicle to up above it the transition is amazing. Great product.

I attempted to do some GoPro footage of me and my son on a canoe trip and this stick made aiming the camera at me or away from me. My only complaint is that when it got wet, the extensions got stuck. It’s very hard to extend and retract now. I’m still able to use it but I can certainly tell a difference. Keep it dry if possible.

Solid/sturdy little stick. Wish they made a longer one

This action camera extension pole is pretty compact in size, but still extends as long as 29 inches. Fully collapsed can be as small as 7-1/2 inches long. Instead of having to twist multiple turns to tighten up the pole after adjusting, you simply twist clockwise about 1/16 of a turn and the pole segments lock in place. The adjustments seem to hole pretty securely so you won't have to worry about slipping. The bottom mount for a leash unscrews to reveal a threaded 1/4-20 tripod mount so you can also use this with a tripod or feet if desired. The bottom grip has a nice EVA foam grip which is comfortable and won't get hot to the touch if left out in the sun. Fully extended to 29 inches this still feels stiff and stable.

It works as expected but is not compatible with the Media mod, there is no space.

Call it a 'selfie stick' or all it an 'extension pole', it's a very handy thing to have for a variety of use cases. This is true not only for your cellphone but for your GoPro or other action cam. You can't have too many GoPro accessories and particularly when they deliver such excellent quality at such a reasonable price. The build quality and functionality is pretty amazing for the price point and I've seen much more expensive products not deliver as much. It worked perfectly with all of my action cams--GoPro Hero 11, Insta 360 x3 and DJI Action cam. It has a really nice foam hand grip and a 1/4" mount so you can put it on a tripod if necessary. On top of that, it weighs nearly nothing and collapses to 8". Great product at any price point. Recommended!

This is a very pocketable extension stick. It is very lightweight and retracts to a very small size. Easy to just throw in your pocket or bag without feeling like you’re hauling a piece of gear. This means I’ll have it with me more often when I need it. So, the best extension stick is the one you have with you.It is comfortable in the hand and has a good firmness. Because it is so light, I’m not sure about the construction and materials used…so durability is a question mark for me. So far, so good.

I had high hopes for this pole but it didn't last. The pole seemed lightweight and decent construction. Unfortunately where they cut corners is where you cant see. The guts of the pole that hold it at different lengths are all really low grade plastic. I used it as a Gopro stand. Half way through my first trip using it, the pieces would completely spin 360 degrees. NOT what it is supposed to do. The locking mechanism was already worn out. So while reviews here are positive, I am willing to bet it is based on first impressions, not real usage. I will break down and buy the Gopro specific pole as it is much more stout. I would not buy this pole again.

Gravgrip manual hydrolic mount and extension cord is excellent performance for Hero GoPro camera.
