Wow these came out so lovely for a birthday party! My son is special needs and everyone gathered around with a space helmet how lovely !!

I purchased this for a possible activity at a space themed birthday party. I ended up returning it because I didn’t think it would capture the attention of the 4 year old boys in the group. I think it would be fun for older kids who were more interested in decorating things with markers and were able to brainstorm ideas on how to add details other than scribbles.

The media could not be loaded. This craft like astronaut helmet outline was perfect for what I needed to accomplish. I decorated a birthday desk at work with this and other details. The request was space penguin. I put these on the balloon penguins. The cardboard is a plain, matte white surface. The picture on the add is more of an example but with no dotted lines, guided lines or details of an astronaut helmet, you can use this as you see fit! The cardboard does have the neck ring, vents, buttons & oxygen hose cut out for you to easily guide the painting/coloring.

Bought two sets. One set did not have the plastic bags. Luckily I was able to use the bags from the other set. Also not enough double sided stickers were provided in the kit that did not come with the plastic bags. Disappointing. It was too late to return because I needed it and did not have time to return.

Comes with stickers to decorate. It is a sturdy piece of cardboard. Kids liked the activity

The DIY package comes with stick on decorations but being jewels these were much more popular with the girls at the party than the boys. The boys enjoyed using markers and drawing on the helmets so keep this in mind depending on who you are throwing a party for and their tastes. It was still a fun craft for a party activity and made for some fun pictures!
