The knife came well packaged and included a heavy duty sheath which it needs as its wicked sharp and will aid in keeping it that way! The few times I have used it, it preformed flawlessly and it holds its edge well. You won’t be disappointed.

This would have gotten a 5 star if it wasn't for the handle. The wood seems just fine but the wooden pieces weren't pressed to the tang of the knife well enough so there's a bit of a gap. Other than that, it's a good sharp knife that's worked well in my kitchen.

My hubby loved the knife. The look and grip were great. He really liked the case too.

The media could not be loaded.  Like others have mentioned, this knife is SHARP out of the box. Due to chronic illness I don't have the strongest grip so I like that this has made it easier for me to cut my vegetables up including raw carrots. Slicing vegetables and meat, both raw and cooked is easy peazy now.It has a hefty feel to it and with small hands it's a bit to manhandle. Oh and as for sharpness, I put it in the sheath with the button strap in the way and it sliced it cleanly. Thank goodness it was the flap there and not my hand. Whew.Make sure to wash and dry the blade immediately after use. I have some oil from a Japanese knife I received so I plan to use it with a patina eraser for weekly care, and from a YouTube vid I saw, I have a 2000 to 10,000 pack of wet and dry sandpaper for heavy patina issues.
