Besides allowing to formulate a basic understanding and framework for appreciating foundational genetics, this book does a great justice in explaining how this is translated into pragmatic applications. As good as this book is in genomics era storytelling, it also provides broad strokes on applied genomics. Essentially, a very well written on a topic that can easily be perplexing otherwise.
