Bitmore VR Eye 3D Virtual Reality Headset for Smartphones iOS and Android with Remote Control

This is my first VR headset - I really didn't expect a lot for the price but its excellent!+ Fits larger phones (unlike the Google cardboard headset) this fits my Huawei P20 Pro phone. Adjustable phone compartment to fit a range of larger phones.+ There are so many 360 videos that you can watch on YouTube - (tap the VR headset button on the video so that it goes into split screen mode) - one of my favourites is called '360 great hammerhead shark encounter' by National Geographic. The 360 videos are interactive, so you can turn around and look. There are space videos, roller coasters and even horror videos!+ Lots of free apps - you can even download one called 'Beyond VR' where you can practise giving presentations+ The toggles to move the eye holes work well, as does the adjustable head strap+ Neatly boxed with everything you need (except 2x AAA batteries for the remote). (I'm yet to try the free trial for the roller-coaster app)These are my negatives, though they're more like things to improve on:- It's not that comfortable to wear, the nose part doesn't fit properly so I usually end up supporting the headset with my hand.- Some videos are more blurry than others - it's not crystal clear but I think it does the job. It's going to depend on your individudal phones resolution specs- Instructions aren't clear on how to use remote control (I've been using it without)Overall I'm giving this 5* because I'm totally wowed by it and how low the price is. It performs and looks much more expensive than it is. This would make an amazing present for someone (just check the phone size specs first)

After getting a new phone I was no longer able to use Samsung Gear VR. So, after much looking found this one here. Which I now regret. This review long overdue.Yes, it's cheap and caveat emp tor etc but upon receipt rushed home to try it. Don't know why no one has mentioned in their review but this device may end up damaging your phone.Here's why. It has a sliding, pull out tray. One side has a spring loaded holder and the other a static matching edge. Unfortunately, the spring catch presses against the phones side button where most phones are located. In my case the on/off button. Phone then kept rebooting over and over as a consequence. Not good so tried it the other way up. Same problem this time with volume switches. So, utter disappointment from the start.When I managed to get it working with much pursasion the remote would not work or quite as advertised. If at all.As to the view itself. Won't bother as non existent or not exactly VR. More like Viewmaster but even they were in focus and decades before VR and mobile phones.I can see it's no longer available and to me that's a good thing. Because if you don't want your phone scratched, potentially bricked by the internal spring catch of this device. Do not buy.Obviously, not expecting it to be Samsung Gear quality as that would be naive at this price but at least something that will not damage your phone.As it stands it's really a plastic box with straps and lenses on the front.

The actual headset is pretty good and good value for money.But the remote control is pretty grim, it hardly ever links to the phone and wont work with any of the Google Cardboard Apps. So without the remote working properly, lots of apps don't work, you have to take the phone out, to tap the screen and stick it back in again. Pretty much unusable.

Got this and works fine. Bigger the phone the better really so you can get more coverage.It is padded but depending on your face, it can be uncomfortable after an hour of use and you cannot really adjust anything but the strap. Lenses are pretty good and you dont get too much mist build up from sweat or moisture after using it for a time. Can seem weighty but that is more the phones fault. Huawei P8 and p10 I used.I was missing the bluetoothe remote but they sent me one out extremely quick.Couldn't really get it to work after getting it to connect after much work. It is not a motion control. Just a couple of buttons and a stick. any controller you can hook up to your phone will do a better job for more complex apps.Overall it is pretty good though. I stopped using it after playing too many scary jumpy games haha!

Really great value for money. Was not sure how well these would work seeing the price, but work really well. can download apps, games and videos to view in virtual reality. good quality and highly recommended.

Bought for casual use. Unfortunately it's quite uncomfortable to wear. It gets right in the nose bone and I can't use for longer than 15mins before it's starts to to hurt. Friends have experienced the same.Also the parts used for adjusting the lenses moves as you move your head.Alright for the price, but thinking on getting a more comfortable one.

This was really good! My siblings were fighting over it to have a go bless em. These goggles are great if you're thinking of testing VR. Goggles are not blurry and the comfort is good. Could fit any phone and is great for the price! Thankyou.

I read the reviews before purchasing and the item was highly rated by most purchasers. There was the occasional customer who got a poor product and unfortunately I appear to be one of those. It was well packaged but I noticed on the box that the remote control had limited functionality with iOS . The advert didn't say that. The first instruction said to fit the rubber pads to the slide tray to protect the phone. Looked in the small box , no rubber pads. The part of the tray that moves to hold the phone seemed quite loose and when I examined it one of the small screws was missing. I think that should have made the device hold the phone tighter in place and as such the phone was prone to moving about. The lack of functionality for some iOS games meant taking the phone in and out of the device repeatedly which is a pain.Overall this product feels pretty cheap and was very disappointing. I know the device has to be light to be comfortable but that doesn't mean it has to be poorly made. Being returned today.
