Fits Sony MDR-7506
This product was exactly what I was looking for. They fit my Sony MDR-7506 headphones perfectly. I lost the original adapter and bought these after trying the generic non-screw in type. As I use my headphones for mixing live audio, itโs important that I always have a 1/4โ adapter to plug into the mixer. The screw is helpful, as the other adapters tend to fall out.

Seems great
I have a pair of Sony MDR-V6 headphones which are now 5 or 6 years old. Of course somewhere along the way I lost the adapter to fit the larger input. Recently someone moved into the apartment next to me, and she is sensitive about noise. In addition, with the pandemic, plus my own aging, I find I often wake up at 5 am or 6 am and want to watch a movie for a while before I fall back asleep. Turns out these adapters fit my headphones perfectly -- they screw on very smoothly -- and I can now plug my headphones into my receiver and listen to the audio while watching a blu ray disc. Perfect, and cheap. Love it.

Works with my Sennheiser HD 280 pro headphones!
I had lost the screw on adapter for my Sennheiser HD 280 pro headphones. The other ones I had laying around didn't screw in and worked OK except that the 1/8" plug was getting bent from me pulling on the coily cord. These were cheaper for 5 of them than buying 1 direct from the manufacturer's name brand. They work just fine and will save my headphones!

These do fit ATH-M50x
I saw a lot of reviews saying that these don't fit M50 so I also bought a cable that would work with these plugs. Turns out, I didn't need the cable because these plugs fit fine. My ATH-M50x headphones are maybe two or three years old, as that maybe seems to be the difference.I think the version that folks say don't fit was older M50 headphones? All I can say is of course, NOW that I have ten of these plugs they never seem to get lost, but when I only had one, I can't count the hours spent searching the studio for the one adapter that came with the phones. Either way, I'm glad I finally figured out that I could get ten backups, for the price of one from AT.

Does not fit Audio Technica ATH-M50
Does NOT fit Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones. Does not even fit past base plate of the 1/8" plug. Can't speak to utility for other purposes, but the Q&A assured me these were all the same, and they're not.The part needed for the older Audio Technica headphones is called the "Audio-Technica 136400412 1/4inch Adapter for ATH-M50 and ATH-M30," and unfortunately it is less common and much more expensive than these.
