Good transfer paper, ok skins
This comes with 20 full-sized pieces of transfer paper, which works great, and are actually twice the size of each piece of silicone. It would be nice if they weren't folded and creased in half, but I see why this makes sense for shipping. It says rubber, but these are more like silicone skins. They are okay. They are very thin, even noticeably thinner than some other thin rubber practice skins I have tried. They are a bit harder to hold onto the transfer, smudging and accidentally wiping it away more easily than on the rubber skins. Unlike the rubber skins, however, these seem to produce a cleaner looking piece in the end, because excess ink doesn't smudge into and stain the surface.

Thin and won't hold ink
By far the worst fake skins. Would have returned but have the stencil paper. Skin is way to thin and you to go over the same lines just to get ink to show

Skins have nice stretch. Transfer paper produces clean lines.
The media could not be loaded. These skins are great for practicing your lines, shading, speed and holding your pen which is great for beginners. These skins hold lines just fine but they don’t hold shading as easily as real skin. I find that I have to work the skin a bit more to get the shading to stick. Since these skins are made of silicone, they stretch a lot better than rubber which will help you achieve a better feel for real skin. Each skin is individually wrapped which is nice because it keeps your skins clean and cuts down on your prep work before you start tattooing. I would still recommend you wipe them down with detergent or alcohol to get rid of any residual grease before you lay down a stencil or pull lines. These skins are very thin and you have to tattoo very lightly or you’ll drill through them. When tattooing real skin, you want to get the ink into the dermis which is about 2mm deep. Unfortunately, these fake skins are only about 1 mm thick so you won’t be able to practice depth control. I would recommend you add another layer or 2 layers of fake skin underneath your working layer so you don’t blunt your needles if you happen to drill through into your table. I also find that the ink bleeds through the other side if you go deeper than 1 mm. So, unless you have a very light hand, you may not be able to tattoo the backside to get the most out of these skins. The thermal stencil transfer paper is 4 ply: Layer 1 white master sheet to which the design is applied; Layer 2 semi-transparent protective tissue to be removed before use; Layer 3 navy carbon page; Layer 4 yellow backing sheet. The paper produces clean and crisp transfers that dry fast and can be used 3 or 4 times. I reused the paper to produce up to 4 clean transfers. The ink is still clear but it starts to fade a little after the 4th transfer. For 20 pieces each, I think you’re getting a great value on a decent set of silicone fake skins and transfer paper. Great starter set for practicing. Thanks for reading. I hope you found this review helpful.

They did something brilliant: Offering not just practice skins, but also transfer sheets, together!
So this company actually came up with a brilliant idea: They offered not only synthetic practice skins for tattooing, but they also include an equal number of tattoo design transfer sheets. This seems like such a simple idea, but once you think about it you have to wonder why nobody else came up with this. I mean, these two things go hand-in-hand, and they really are necessary for each other. What good is your tattoo practice, if you don't know how to transfer the artwork? What is the point of becoming adept at design transfer if your actual tattooing skills are lacking. They really are part of the same thing. This is a great set of both practice skins and transfer sheets. The skins are (IMO) a bit thin, but you can do tattoo practice on both sides. The transfer sheets are the same ones you'll see in a professional tattoo studio. You're working with the real deal.I actually like the skins. They are extremely soft and supple, and are similar (though clearly not exactly the same) as actual human skin. Back in "the day" we used to practice on citrus fruit and pigskin (very challenging), and we transferred artwork via thick acetate sheets engraved and filled with charcoal powder. You are now lightyears away from that.If you're considering getting practice sheets do yourself a service and purchase something like this that will give you practice transferring artwork, as well.It will pay in the long run.

Very thin
It’s bad quality and very thin. It’s not silicone. It’s gummy but more like plastic.
