Updating my original review. The seat does fit as long as you attach the bracket in the back first. The seat flexes a little to lock in the front. The seat is more comfortable than factory for sure.

Wish I could give this seat ten stars.Fits my Rebel 1100 perfectly (after I bent the rear mount tab a little with pliers, as another reviewer suggested).This seat is much, much more comfortable than the original equipment seat. I waited until I had ridden over 1000 miles on this seat to review. Seat was much more comfortable from the start, but keeps getting better as it breaks in. The thicker padding reduces sore spots on my butt, and the thicker padding raises me up about an inch for a much more comfortable riding position. Now, I never even think about my comfort no matter how long I ride.I wanted to keep the easy key-access to under my seat, so I bought a longer bolt for the rear attachment, cut the head off the bolt to make it a stud, and screwed it into the rear mount hole. I installed the seat over the stud with a wing nut, and lock the front of the seat in place with the key. I can just loosen the wing nut, turn the key, and swivel the front of the seat out of the way.I have the seat with the diamond pattern. Everyone who has seen the bike with both seats has said that the replacement seat improves the bikes appearance, but that is minor compared to the improved comfort. Best thing I have done for this bike. Now I love all aspects of my Rebel 1100 DCT. Should have done this a year ago.

**Adjust the rear bracket before mounting the seat, or you might scratch your bike like I did. It's angled too far downward and needs to be angled more parallel with the bike so it doesn't dig into your fender and scratch the paint. Also the inner bolt holding the rear bracket on the underside of the seat scratched the bumper, so use some padded protection there too**The good: This is a good looking seat, and it's more comfortable than stock to sit on. Because it's thicker than stock, it sits the rider taller, and there's more front to back wiggle room, so you can sit further back in the seat if you want. The thickness also adds to how comfortable it is.The bad: The faux leather looks okay, a little wrinkly, but the stitching started coming undone in some areas after a few days which makes me question how long it will last.The ugly: When installing and during use, it scratched my bike. The rear bracket isn't angled properly so it dug right into the rear bumper paint, now I have a scratch on my bike. I had to take the seat off and angle the rear bracket manually to get it at a better angle. But even then the inner bolt holding that bracket digs in to the bumper underneath the seat, so I had to reinforce that area with weather stripping to help give it some cushion.Overall: It's an okay seat, decent for the price, but how long will it hold up? And the manufacturer definitely needs to fix the angle of the rear bumper bracket so they don't hurt people's bikes on installation.

This seat feels so much better then the stock seat. The verdict is still out whether the seat will last but for the price i couldn't be happier with it. Like one of the other comments mentioned the rear bracket will scratch the fender if you dont put somthing between the seat and the fender. I just put a thin piece of foam between them and havnt had a issue. Install was a breeze but you do have to bend the bracket a little to get the correct angle. Overall i would recommend this seat as its much more comfortable and seems to actually have good support. Only reason im not rating it 5 stars is the rear bracket issue.

Much more comfortable than stock, and allows for 2 up. Driver has more room to slide forward/backward than the stock saddle provides. Passenger complained about comfort after about an hour, so I added an extra honeycomb cushion for her. Now we go for 2-3 hour rides without complaint.

Looks great. Feels comfortable. Unfortunately it doesn't feel secure to the bike... It only fastens with a screw on the rear fender and the key release mechanism near the tank. It is missing the braces on the underside to hold it in place that the stock seat has that I circled in the pictures.If I figure out away to create something to fasten it the seat may be worth keeping.
