ELEGOO Upgraded 3D Printer Resin 405nm UV Curing Standard Upgraded Resin 2.0 for LCD 3D Printing, High Precision, Low Odor, Grey 2000g

This has been my first, and to date only, resin purchased. I got this literally years ago, and went to print with it last week with the resin about two years past it's expiry date on the side and it still printed absolutely fine with basically no defects (and any that were there were probably from my shoddy old printer). I'm not going to give print settings because I am nowhere near qualified for that, nor does anything I say have any baseline or reference. It's a resin, and even I've managed to get it to work with minimal effort when it's two years out of date, so it's probably fine.

Resin is making for great prints so would be 5 star if not for the short date and slight damage on the lid. The bottle arrived with a week untill expiry date, I plan to use the bottle by then as it seems expired resin can still make good prints so not really a problem for me there. When I unpacked the bottle I noticed the lid has a small crack and a some resin was leaking out, this could have happened during deliver but the bottle was well protected with bubble wrap. I plan to use this quickly but means I have to store it in a separate air tight box to avoid the smell/fumes. Otherwise great resin.

This resin was delivered and was made in 2021 and had a very short date.Tried 3 prints that failed and contacted elegoo support, they were wonderful and promptly sent out another bottle of resin that worked great.So hopefully my issue was just a one off but if you get issues contact elegoo support who will be very helpful

I've used a few bottles of this black Elegoo resin over past couple of years. I'm no expert and do occasional prints with it. The usual print failures are all self inflicted & I'm sure are not down to the resin. So yes, resin works for me!

Decent resin for 3D printers

Bought this to go with a recently purchased Anycubic Photon Resin printer. The resin is not bad, I have had a few failures but i suspect this is down to me/learning how to use and not a failure of the product. It is low odour, but I would recommend using in a ventilated room. Also ensure when handling that you wear rubber gloves- it is an irritant if it comes into contact with the skin. I have printer a hanger bay for a Star Wars Star destroyer model and the detail is stunning using this resin, along with an "Iron Man" figurine from the Marvel Films. The detail using this resin is stunning and is enhanced further once the finished item is washed with surgical alcohol and UV light cured. Comes in a heavy duty plastic bottle with child proof lid - again, goes without saying, keep away from children and pets. Price break is good and is available in a wide variety of colours/finishes. All in all, very happy with product, will probably buy more once i have figured out the settings on the printer.This review is my own opinion and i have not received any incentive/concession in return for a positive review from the manufacturer.
