I have been looking for raw green tripe for years and finally I found Raw Paws through diligent searching. The package arrived so quickly and the patties were still frozen rock solid! I have a little dog so I will be separating patties and refrigerating one patty at a time. It does smell pretty bad but that is not my concern at all. My dog's health is my top priority. So, I am starting with less than 25% tripe per meal just to see how she does and make certain there is no problem or bad reaction. My Pom is only two years old but has been fed a raw diet since I brought her home at 12 weeks old. That's all she knows now and she is 100% Raw Fed Dog. After two meals, I can see that she is picking out the tripe first...ahead of her unpeeled raw shrimp! I am happy and look forward to her living a long healthy life eating her raw green tripe! I will keep adding other raw foods to her diet, though. I do not listen to any veterinarians when it comes to feeding my dog. Dog food companies teach all of the classes on nutrition at every institution of Veterinary Medicine. I say, hey, vets, what did dogs eat before pet food companies existed? They have only existed for the last less than 100 years. Dog have managed to be here on this earth for thousands of years. They seem to have survived without a diet of only brown crunchy things out of a bag, and nothing else. Vets make money on dog food, too. Just remember that. My dog will NEVER eat kibble. I did the research.

First I will say that I was concerned because we’re in the middle of a heat wave and my box was sitting out in the sun for several hours before I got home from work. Worry not! When I opened the box it was suuuuuper frozen. Hockey-puck-frozen. Very happy about that. I got 5 packages of 8 patties. I had to defrost a package in the fridge for several hours before I could separate, but then they came apart relatively easily and I put each patty in a ziplock and back in the freezer. I left one patty in the fridge to fully defrost for the evening meal to start introducing my cats to the raw food. I gave them little nibbles and Haru was into it right away. I started with 25% raw to 75% kibble as suggested. Haru was accepting, but Remy is more fickle. She looked like I tried to feed her a dirty rock instead of delicious raw food. This is normal.Cats require patience and persistence. They crave routine and if you suddenly change the routine they may have a hard time adjusting. We’re on day 2 now and Remy is still annoyed, but I caught her licking at the raw food after she ate all of her horrible dry kibble nuggets. Progress. Also a lot of cats don’t care for cold food, so I’ll try mixing some warm water to see if that’s better for her delicate sensibilities. 🙄 The total transition should take a month, otherwise you may get angry cat, hungry cat, barfy cat, or poopy cat. SLOWLY transition the food and it’ll be okay. Always consult your vet before making a major dietary change for your pet, but ultimately a raw food diet has the potential to prevent illness and to promote an overall healthier life for your cats.If something changes in the following months I will update the review, but so far so good. Reasonably priced, fast shipping, safe packaging for food, and healthier food for my kitties. 👍👍

I got this product for my Shar pei who started having issues with pancreatitis in April. It is helpful for dealing with pancreatitis because green tripe is a raw product containing enzymes that aid with digestion and digestive health . Without added enzymes, my pup did not digest food completely and began losing weight due to malnourishment. With the green tripe plus the addition of plant enzymes in all the food she eats, she has put on weight and no longer acts like a starving dog. I take a patty out from the freezer every other day and put in the fridge. I feed her half a patty a day by mixing it in her other food. She loves it. The packing for shipment is excellent and the food arrived with dry ice and frozen solid. Great product

Ships in a really beefy container and arrives fast. Comes with a feeding guide and possible uses for the container. All excellently packaged, damn good looking food for a dog! My pooches are healthy and happy, their coats are like velvet I tell ya.....f ing velvet...good amount of food for the money.
