Very good product and good price for it
This machine really is helpful. Easy to follow. It told me the problems on my car with the codes. Of which I looked up on Google for more details about the same codes it gave me. Then I was able to clear the engine code. I did noticed that you have to turn the car to on position to erase the code. It wouldn't work trying to clear the code while the car was running.

Great for a DIY Shade tree mechanic
My old reader quit working or getting errors connecting to the car. This unit is enhanced and offers more scanning features that I can't use on my current car. It shows the code and details. The check engine light can be cleared (bad thermostat) but not the permanent code. The local auto parts store will scan your car for free, but they are reluctant on resetting the codes. I like the convenience of owning my own reader.

Perfect Tool for Emissions Prep.
I bought the Zmoon OBD2 reader to check if my sensors were ready for emissions testing after the battery died in my Corvette during winter storage and cleared all the sensors. I didn’t want to keep paying for emissions tests only to find out the sensors weren’t ready. The Zmoon was a great solution—super easy to use even with no prior experience. The screen is bright and easy to read, feels well built, accurate on sensors that were ready, and the interface is really straightforward. Just plug it in and go. It also comes with a nice storage pouch and a USB cable for updates. All around, a great product at a great price—and it saved me money. Highly recommend!

It works with confusion !
It does work, but as others have indicated some of the instructions are confusing ! One test says to read a result for VIN engine should be off, but tried and it only reads VIN with engine on !!!!!!!
