Works on older models ZHS-36-A
This remote does work with older model ZHS-36-A.HOWEVER Be Aware that the button labels do not match the function.For Example the button named flame actually controls the timer.I used my label maker and added new labels so the buttons now have the correct label.All fireplace functions still work now that the buttons have the new labels I added.
