I have been using Hammerite in various colours, hammered, smooth and satin for decades. It covers well, looks great and lasts for years.

easy to use but make sure you brush on quite alot and leave to dry before reapplying or you will stretch the paint and ruining the look.

Have always found Hammerite effective.First time I have used this particular hammered silver finish & I am impressed.Important to keep it stirred whilst using but very effective and covers well.This particular package with ‘free’ element is good value.

Used this paint before and I love it but I won't forget it through Amazon again.First lot got left on the street and nicked. Second order Amazon used Evri and they damaged it so I never got it either. Ended up buying it at the local b&q

Hammerite has always been the "go to" paint for hard wearing since I was a kid and my father used it to paint the garden gate. Since growing old myself I've come to understand that this paint has far more uses than just protecting iron gates. I painted my kitchen tiles with it as the price of silver tiles was stupid 18yers ago and they NEVER flaked or cracked. I painted my cars brake disc calipers! Now I've used it for my fire surround as I loved the hammered finish and even in reasonably close proximity to the actual fire it neither bubbles nor discolours. The paints bonding properties are superb and coverage is excellent. This paint is grateful and incredibly versatile, when used with a little common sense. Highly recommend

the paint is good - dries quickly and covers fairly well though a second coat is advisable. my only issue is that it dries smooth which was not what I wanted.

TRES BONNE PEINTURE

J'ai appliquée cette peinture lorsque la température n'était pas trop élevé cet été afin de ne pas avoir trop de difficulté à l'appliquer (env. 25 °C) avec un pinceau brosse . J'ai effectué de petits tapotements successif pour recouvrir d'anciennes jantes de remorque qui avaient un vingtaine d'années . a part cette petite difficulté de mise en œuvre le résultat me convient très bien.
