Hotpoint Class 4 SI4 854 H IX Built-in Oven - Stainless Steel, Silver

I have finally found an oven that is easy to use and does as it says in its product description. It looks good and works like a dream. I am now making things that Inhave not made for years and getting top results. I can say it has given me back the enjoyment I used to have in my cooking.

Awful product. Had two which came up with fault code F03. Was told by Hotpoint it happens all the time and they dont know why. Once this happens outside your warranty you're screwed. Had to wait weeks for engineer to come out to even look at it leaving me without an oven for weeks at a time. Would defo not recommend anything built by Hotpoint or their other brands

I like the cooker. Easy to clean but the grill doesn’t work unless the oven door is closed. It took two engineers and four weeks of waiting to discover this!

Bought this from another retailer (not amazon) and had it for 15 months. Use it approx 1 - 2 times a week, mainly fan oven setting.I was using this and it tripped the circuit breaker in my house. I reset the breakers and the oven came back on - however it would now take ages to pre-heat to the 180 degrees (like.. 40 minutes). Unplugged it, plugged it back in - error F 07.turned it off and on again and now its 'working' but the top grill element does not heat up - rendering most of its functionality useless.. i.e. you cannot turbo grill or use the pyrolytic function. To add to this, the door no longer locks in pyrolytic mode which is pretty dangerous, or would be if the top element worked I guess?Extended warranty seems expensive and when you check the 10 yr parts warranty this does not exclude the engineer visit, which stings you for £110 each time..Lesson learnt for hotpoint / whirlpool stuff I guess! Would advise people to avoid.Update on this - bought a new element myself after locating the right one for approx £60. Replaced broken top element reasonably easily..now working again. Perhaps it was a faulty original part, perhaps not.. time will tell.

Bought this oven about a year ago and it was biggest mistake ever... It's now broke for the fourth time, an error just comes up and you can't use it or do anything. You have to book a repair and wait for a week or more, and when they just come reset the oven and leave without fixing it properly or replacing it.... After some time same thing happens and it's never ending story... I just wish I never bought it or have to deal with them again...

Love the look quite easy to use.
