Worked well on my Backwater mud motor but thickness can vary with the various kill switches. This is the thinner clip but was a direct replacement for my unit. Some switches require a thicker blade so verify thickness of your blade before ordering. Amazon has both configurations just verify clip thickness before ordering. Would recommend.

It would not stay locked on suzuki. I had to use dremel to grind a grove to keep it locked. It now works great

Was exactly what I wanted

A tight fit on my 90’s Polaris but they do the job. It’s nice to have an extra to keep on the boat in case you forget that specific jacket you attached it to. The clips are stiff and cheap but what the heck!

We lost one original clip for our electric start 9.8 Tohatsu. This new clip is almost half the thickness of the Tohatsu original. The new clip does work but I am concerned about the internal contact of the kill button being compromised.

Advertised for a Suzuki.Too large for a Suzuki rigged Boat.Will buy a Suzuki OEM Key and attach the Leash.Used boiling water to heat Key and crimp it down. This worked but won't trust it. Will only use Key as a backup.Key on bottom, green lanyard, is OEM.

These clips are TOO big for Honda outboards!! ( too wide ).
