This face cream was really rich and thick when I first pumped it out. I could only describe the faint sweet creamy smell as a bit butterscotch but it's barely there. I first put it on the back of my hands because I always check as I'm pretty sensitive to many products, but no reaction at all which was great. This morning I spread it on my face and headed out into the world. I will say it doesn't seem to completely absorb on my forhead during the day, though I have more oily skin there too. It feels great around my chin (I'm a guy) since I just shaved and it feels soft and moisturized with no post-shave burning at all. Because of my oily forehead, I'm looking a little dewy this afternoon so I think I'm going to switch this rich cream to nighttime where it should really power through.
