I'll update AFTER I see how good this is
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a window film to darken my rooms, instead I found this. Plus I'm upstairs, I don't mind the heat. I just wanted to be able to see out my windows. I read the reviews, I was scared cuz I'm the ONLY person doing this. I'm seriously proud of myself over this 😊 I suppose 2 people would be ok, it's just me. So I HAVE no choice but to do it myself, I thought this through many times. Had this all figured out how I was gonna do it, till I put the film up against the window to see how it fit. To my surprise, it fit good & my plan would work. I ey the window down like I was suppose to, I peeled the clear plastic away & it stuck. ..... Like that's it, I had to peel it away(which is the HARDEST) part. Once I figured out how to do this, which.... Is easy, I was good. Wet down the window, till water is running down the window. Then carefully put the film on it, y'all don't need 2 people. There will be bubbles, don't worry bout them. Make sure it fits the way y'all want it to, then cut the film of the roll ....... Yes, I left mine in the roll to see how it fit. It worked great, my ONLY complaint is there isn't enough on that roll to do ALL my windows. I got 1 frame done, I had to order 5 more rolls for my other windows. That's ok, I'm gonna see this afternoon how good this stuff is. I'm out proud of myself for doing things that according to society "y'all need a guy in y'all life" no I don't. I can do this ALL by myself, I've been self sufficient since I was a kid. I'm 53, I did the exact opposite of what every review said to do. I'm not a perfectionist, I'm germophic. I will make sure no bubbles are left by the end of the day. I'm pretty happy with this, so far 😊 by the by, I live in Oklahoma where it's 110 out right now. So if this helps with keeping my upstairs unit cool & runs my air less (which is set to 80) then I'll be happy. UPDATE::::::::: I went through & fixed them so they don't over lap, it wasn't that bad. It took me a minute, but y'all can still do this even with 1 person. I'm no where near perfectionist, if y'all get the window wet enough (good luck on this, as y'all are spraying it's drying 🤦 it can be done. Maybe NOT in 110 heat) I got them done, I'll tape the corners down cuz that's what it is driving me crazy. Even on the 1s I didn't redo, that's ok. I'll tape them down, other then that...... The sun is on me yet I don't feel the heat, I like being able to see outside. I like that my air isn't running constantly. This was worth the price, I got it on sale plus click the 6% discount & it was only $9.99......a roll, that's not bad. I got 5 more rolls, so I have extra. I'm working on getting an ESA & service dog, I'll see next year how they handle this. If need be I'll UPDATE on that too. 😊 I will buy again if I need more

Decent Temporary Privacy, Frustrating to Install
FuFin One-Way Window Film promises easy privacy and heat control, but the experience may be less than ideal. Here's what you need to know:Pros:One-Way Effect: Does offer some privacy during daylight hours, blocking views in while allowing you to see out. Some Heat Reduction: Noticeable reduction in direct sunlight, but don't expect full heat blocking.Cons:Finicky Installation: Instructions were unclear, and the film itself is very prone to air bubbles and creases. Getting a flawless application is difficult.Fragile: The film feels thin and flimsy, making it easy to tear or wrinkle during handling. May not be durable long-term.Night-Time Visibility Reversal: At night, when lights are on inside, the privacy effect flips and people can see inside.Tip: Watch online installation tutorials beforehand for the best chance of success. Be very patient and careful during application.Overall: This might be a viable option for short-term privacy needs, but be prepared for a potentially frustrating installation process and limitations in effectiveness. For long-lasting, high-quality privacy, explore other window film brands or traditional window treatments.

practice makes perfect
We added thsi film to a set of patio doors that get direct, late afternoon sun. Once installed, they do provide both a reduction in sunlight and a semi-reflective look from outside.Cons:1. The usual poor quality instructions that you expect with a Chinese product. As many others have said, be generous with the soapy water and it is defintely not a single person project.2. The hard plastic squeegee is worthless - too rigid and too small. Fortunately, I already had a wider and softer one that made the job much easier. We tried both cutting to size before and trimming after installation - didn't see much benefit either way. Trimming after applying did.allow me to leave about a 1 mm gap between the edge of the film and the window frame to avoid cutting into the weatherstripping. I doubt we could have trimmed that accurately beforehand.Overall, a decent product once installed.

You shouldn't buy this unless you're a professional with a lot of time and patience.
I've bought and installed many window vinyls over the course of the years, and this by far is the worst one. The material is very thin, easy to tear, and easy to crease. It has actual adhesive on it, instead of relying on static like most vinyls I've used, which means when it sticks to itself (and it inevitably will) its quite difficult to unstick and usually leaves a permanent crease in the vinyl which cannot be buffed out no matter how hard you try, which means you will have bubbles in between the vinyl and the window. The one thing I do like about this vinyl is the opacity, which is perfect for my situation.

Easy to install adds great privacy
Film was nice and thick and super easy to install. Had bought a new impact window front door and couldn’t find any type of blinds to work with it. So went the window tint route. Was best decision I could have made keeps that area of house much cooler from the sun and definitely keeps people from seeing in during the day. Even at night with lights on inside it made a big difference. As you can see in when you walk all the way up but from the yard or street I’d say it blocks 70% of the view compared to clear window. Great product and the tools it came with worked perfect. Left a couple windows done from inside and out so you can see the difference with and without. The pic from the outside the second to last window from bottom wasn’t done which you can easily see my dog but you can’t see through at all from the next window above it

Great film
Used this to tint my garage door windows. It makes a huge difference. Not visible to view from exterior thru the windows during the day and blocks out a huge amount of sun keeping the garage so much cooler.
