My 7 year loves his pair and I asked him he said yes you can totally use inside.

Q: Are these googled good for a 10 yr old boy or should I purchase adult ones for him?

Honestly I think it’s a close call you should probably measure his head or yes purchase for teen.

Q: Will the swimming goggles with tinted lenses block out the sun pretty well?

My son won his race ever with swimming goggles on. He swims competitively and some of his races are outside. He says they block the sun very well and fit well. They has been one of the best pair of goggles we have bought.
