Table 19

This is a cute, sweet, movie. I would not classify it as a comedy which is why I think it's getting bad reviews. The movie you expect from seeing the trailer is not the movie you see. It has it's funny moments but mostly it's about the lives of 6 strangers who get stuck at the loser table, All in one way or another are at a pivotal moment in their lives. I wouldn't know how to describe it in typical movie fashion, it's not a comedy or drama. It is however engaging and tells a good story about everything not being as it appears, which I love about this movie. I think everyone can plot how a romantic comedy is suppose to go and I'm so glad this turned out to be more than that. Forget the negative comments about not being "funny", it's not suppose to be or at least not in the sense that we've become accustomed. It's not going to win oscars but I can see myself coming back to it when I'm having a crappy day and need cheering up.

This was truly a surprising gem. I watch a lot of movies, often letting them play in the background while doing other things, as with this. But, a few minutes into it and I was really drawn into the story and wanted to see how it ended for the entire group at table 19. And I was actually a little surprised at the ending...pleasantly! You should give this one a chance!

I love anything Anna Kendrick, and this poignant indie film showcases not only her talent, but those of the small cast as well. I originally ordered this DVD, and it did not come as promised, I contacted the seller and they were very nice about it and had a replacement to me only TWO days later, very happy about that, and would order from seller again.

Most older Kendrick movies area bit odd. This one is quirky but good. I've watched twice and will watch it some more. Her character is realistic (sort of) for a someone who is angsty having been jilted. A very entertaining group of characters.

Just watched for the first time last night. What a sweet movie with the occasional laughs. Not sure what I would label it as...a romantic comedy?...I liked the story, I liked most of the characters and the ending had me tearing up. I am normally NOT a fan of this type of movie but I quit liked it.👍

This light comedy is pretty good. Anna Kendrick and the cast are engaging (except Lisa Kudrow, who I always find terrible, with the exception of "Friends"). I recommend this movie for a breezy evening of fun.

Arrived promptly. A comical drama about a group of interesting misfits that were thrown together and somehow bonded perfectly. Had a deeper storyline than originally expected. Funny yet serious at the same time.

This is a good Romantic Drama. Anna Kendrick is an excellent leading lady. It is set at a back table of a wedding reception and what happens when strangers try to get to know their table mates.

Nach den ersten paar Minuten denkt man, man wüsste, wie der Film weiter gehen wird. Ein klassischer Liebesfilm halt, aber dann entwickelt er sich doch ganz anders!Lustig, ein bisschen traurig und irgendwie das wahre Leben! Realistischer als manch anderer Liebesfilm: Menschen machen Fehler, trotzdem bedeutet das nicht immer gleich das Ende. :)

Dans la famille des comédies anglo-saxonne autour du mariage, « Table 19 » se distingue par son art du contre-pied. En effet les personnages principaux du film sont 6 invités relégués pour diverses raison en table 19, la plus éloignée de la table des mariés où ils semble même que pas grand ne remarque qu'ils font partie de la fête. On y trouve notamment Eloïse (Anna Kendrick), la demoiselle d'honneur démissionnaire depuis qu'elle a été plaquée par le frère de la mariée, un cousin un peu étrange (Stephen Merchant), un adolescent en quête d'aventure amoureuse, l'ancienne nounou de la mariée et un couple (Lisa Kudrow et Craig Robinson) nt ne comprend pas les véritable raisons de sa présence.Au fil de la soirée, les secrets des pensionnaires de la table 19 finissent par se dévoiler au fur et à mesure que se développe entre eux une certaine forme de solidarité puis de sincère amitié. Le film alterne dialogues drôles et séquences plus émouvantes. Le scénario surprend plutôt positivement en prenant à plusieurs reprise une tournure inattendue. Sans égaler les grandes comédies du genre, « Table 19 » se révèle être un divertissement doux-amer plutôt très réussi grâce aussi à son très bon casting et une Anna Kendrick toujours aussi parfaite.

Otra película comercial que no ha salido a la venta en España. Se necesita reproductor de DVd universal. Está doblada y subtitulada en español latino. Es una comedia romántica del estilo de las que suele protagonizar Anna Kendrick. Bastante amena sin llegar a las carcajadas. Me gustó.

Ein spaßiger Film dem es nicht an Tiefgang fehlt. Erzählt wird die Geschichte von Menschen die der Braut eigentlich nahe stehen sollten, es aber doch nicht wirklich tun. Ihre Geschichten sind rührend erzählt aber auch die Comedy kommt nicht zu kurz. Alles in allem ein Kurzweiliger Film für einen gemütlichen Filmabend.
