Nomad
A “Classic” 2 door wagon only built for 3 years (‘55 thru ‘57). The front suspension was difficult. The chassis mould only had a single exhaust , muffler & tailpipe. I ground the muffler off and fit in a complete dual exhaust from a’57 Chevy that came with a standard & custom dual exhaust .system.

Overall The AMT 1955 Chevy Nomad is a really nice kit although I haven't yet unwrapped everything AMTmakes up the vast majority of my model kit collection, they usually have minimal flash and sink hole marksbut for me go together rather well with good fitment, the chrome is very smooth but if there's ever anyrough spots it can be de-chromed cleaned up and re-sprayed with chrome paint, for the side vent glassthere's no template to trace onto the extra glass strip that's supplied you can pirate ready molded glass fromanother kit, and for the "Wompin Wagon" drag version there's reference pictures on the internet.
