I purchased wrong size but great quality

Its a reasonably standard mail box lock. So for the price it is reasonably expensive. However, it comes with 5 different lock plates which means that it can fit more situations. It also comes with 5 keys, which is useful if you need more than the standard 2 keys...

I ordered this to see if I could fit it to the door of an electrical cabinet which has the flimsy plastic lock with the triangle peg. The original mechanism broke after an overzealous meter reader forced it open when he didn't have the special key. This isn't an exact fit but with a little DIY I've managed to get it to fit and the fact it comes with several different shaped latches means I could find one that did the job. I'll probably get another to replace the mechanism on the gas meter door as well now. Recommended

I needed this to put a new lock on a hidden box. Wa yes something small and discreet and this was perfect as was easy to install on the door. Drill a small hole and feed it through. Add the latch on the back and tighten. Key opens and locks the latch easily. Good quality and good value.
