Before I purchased this “Travelers Portable Door Lock” I was a bit skeptical because it didn’t look thick or sturdy. After receiving the product it had some weight to it and looks like I could throw it against a brick wall and it would be just fine.I haven’t gotten to try this portable lock at a hotel room door yet but I’ll update this review with pictures once I come back from my trip this summer.

This lock is god send! I’m constantly in and out of different hotels for business and I can finally rest well knowing I’m safe.We all hear stories of staff giving the wrong keys to people and creepy folks sneaking into rooms.With this item I’m finally in control of my own space while on the road and that’s a big deal! It’s small enough to fit into my purse but durable and sturdy enough to keep people out. I think everyone should own one! Stay safe people!

Nice to have the two pack for both front and back doors. Worked great at home but had little problem when I went on vacation it didn't work on the rental cabin, but it does work on hotels which is very nice .

What a terrific invention! As a frequent traveler, I do not want housekeeping in my hotel rooms as I am allergic to chemicals. No matter who I tell, how many signs I leave, etc, they still try to come inside of my room every morning! With this lock, no one can come into my room while I am there.It's so simple to use. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and the pack came with 2 locks! My husband hooked it up fairly quickly and it was easy to use! I like the red one for easy to see or the black one to be more subtle in view. Good options.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these locks for extra peace of mind. My door knob lock on my bedroom door is a bit iffy about working and I have a roommate that will knock once and just open my door if the lock didn't engage... but NO MORE! This portable lock set does a wonderful job! It's got very detailed instructions, it's very easy to install too. It has two different sized holes to fit any door strike. I was surprised at how sturdy it is! It came with a nice pouch to carry it in when I travel and stay in hotels or with friends/family. The kit has two locks so it's a great value for the benefits it gives! I keep one at home and one in my purse because you just never know when you might need it. It came in very handy at a public restroom that I would have never used because their door knob lock was broken!

The design is simple and requires no hardware to install. It was easy to mount in the door thanks to clear instructions, and I found it to be quite strong. Definitely a must-have when traveling!

Instructions are super clear and it’s easy to use. It also comes with 2, so I can leave one in my large suitcase and my carry-on so I always have one when I travel. Can’t wait to start using these and sleeping peacefully.
