Love the Pattern and the Quality
Ever since leaving the military I have found myself wanting to wear the new style combat trousers. I find them to be comfortable and durable and I get lonely without all the pockets. I have really taken a liking to the new A-TACS pattern and wished I would have had access to this pattern rather than some of the other patterns currently in use. The A-TACS FU pattern adapts very well to the environment here in Utah and the weight of the pants lends itself well to fall as well. The sizing runs true to the military standard and the construction has been very durable. This is the 5th pair of these I have purchased and none of them are showing any signs of thinning or falling apart. What I am curious to see is if the coloration fades. As with most clothing I suspect there will be some the question is how much. In some of the Propper clothing I have had in the past the color has faded very quickly. This particular pair of pants has been through only 4 washing so far and has not shown any noticeable fading. I know there is the whole Propper vs Tru-Spec controversy out there but as A-TACS is only available from Propper if you want this pattern the choice is kinda made for you. That being said I have not found any significant difference between Propper and Tru-Spec myself, I know, I know sacrilege right? That aside, these pants have so far held up very well, they are very comfortable, have not faded to date (including the solid color versions I have) and have all the pockets that I became so accustomed to. Because this is a "new" pattern the price point is a bit high. I suspect that after a while it will drop though as happened with Multi-Cam. Look forward to trying the A-TACS FG pattern in the green of my native Oregon.

Exactly what I wanted, perfect Multicam® pant!
These pants are awesome! I'll tell ya what, I was a little concerned about the sizing and all before I received them, but it worked out perfectly in the end!The pants are awesome quality. In order for a company to use the official Multicam® pattern, the maker of the product has to adhere to a quality threshold that is set by Multicam®. Because of this, it makes items a bit more expensive than the rest, but it is in good measure because this item is held to a higher quality and standard, so basically you are getting a better product.I am 6 feet 8 inches tall and weigh 200 pounds. On most pants, my inseam is a 36 and waist is a 34, so I went with the Medium X-long (31-34 waist and 35.5 - 38.5 inseam). The length is perfect, long enough to wear over or under any kind of boots. The waist fits true to size as well.Despite other reviews, my pants are 50/50 nyco. That is probably due to the fact that they are Multicam®.My POU (philosophy of use): for these pants are for everyday wear, hiking, working, and they would make a great go-to-war or combat pant as well.Pros: They fit well, they keep you cool and they also breathe well, the pockets are excellent, and I have had absolutely no problems thus far. They have been through hikes, shooting, and just everyday wear and have done well.MY ONLY CON: these pants have standard size belt loops, which I believe are 1.75 inches. You cannot wear any belts larger than that. This isn't even that big of a con, I just thought that it was important to point that out in case any of you like to use wider belts.

Size matters
I had to get this for an airsoft team and i got the xxl long size. I am a regular xl. First, I was told that tgis fit 53% or something like that as expected and it was an athletic cut. I am no athlete at all and I thought the athletic cut would be to tight, so i got the xxl. Boy I was wrong. Also there was no size chart so I didn't know what I was buying either. I got these and I knew I had to hem the legs, but I also had to move the button over, both feats were not that difficult, but time consuming with any wardrobe editing. Besides fitting loosely, the material is strong and won't give out. I would wash the pants before first use so they are less stiff. Also, these are not IR resistant for those who care. These pants also have a load of pockets up and down the leg. Either way, 4/5, fits loose, don't get long, sturdy, and button up fly.
